The front staff was really young, but friendly. They worked to keep things restocked properly, and everything was orderly and clean. The tables were a little wobbly. Chips that were provided were nearly stale, but not a big deal. Drinks were provided pretty promptly. We were expecting a long wait given the reviews, and seeing many patrons waiting for food when we arrived. However, a quick 20 minute wait and our 2 x burritos were provided. They were really good. I went with a simple option to limit the risk of a long wait, but I'll explore the rest of the menu next time. Half the menu isn't in English, and our waitress barely spoke English (thankfully I spoke Spanish). All that to say, be patient with the staff ☺️ This could definitely be a local favorite as they grow out of the "new" store phase, but time will tell. Alternatively, Texas Mexican in Freehold is also a good option, too. Side note, other reviews inaccurately list the per-person-pricing. Most dishes are well below $25.

Well I will say the food was excellent. It did take a little while to come but I don't think it was quite as horrible as some of the reviews said. Our waitress was very friendly and well it did take a little while they were pretty busy. I would highly recommend the tamales! They were only $3 each so I expected them to be tiny and they came out and were huge. And we're delicious! So was the burrito. My husband had the chicken mole and I will say it was a little hard to eat because it was in a bunch of mole sauce with bone-in chicken. So kind of hard to get the chicken off the bone. But the flavor of everything was excellent! As where the price is! We had way more food than what we could possibly eat for only $40.

Food is authentic and flavorful. Service was pleasant and in a timely manner. I just wish the tortillas were freshly made and that they had Mexican music playing. Definitely going back, really enjoyed.

Where to even begin. First off, food was good. Absolutely messed it up more than you could ever imagine but hey, what came out tasted good.

There is certainly a language barrier here. So bad that unless you speak Spanish, you literally can't communicate. The waitress needed GOOGLE TRANSLATE ON HER PHONE to tell us how she messed up out order.

We came in with a party of 7. They seated us at a standard 4 person table. Then left us yo figure it out... so we pushed two tables together ourself and made it work.

Menu has no prices on it. No drinks on it. Nothing. Asked for a drink menu, they gave us a scan menu that when scanned says the restaurant is closed and doesn't work. We tried explaining this so they handed us a to go menu. STILL NO DRINKS.

Food comes out, a few of our orders were flip flopped, mine personally was completely wrong and had to he remade. I only asked for a chicken quesadilla.... Can't forget the having to ask for silverware 10 times while the food sits on the table.

We go to pay, we pay separate per couple, they charge my wife and I correctly, then call us back completely confused and try recharging us saying they messed up again. We requested the receipt from the first payment to show that no, it's correct.

I can't even begin to explain how much of a joke that dining process was. I hate to be mean but all 7 of us were borderline about to pay for the drinks and just leave. Horrible,...

I had the worst experience of a restaurant at this place. First walked in asked for our drinks. I asked for 1 small horchata 1 miniral water 2 soda cans It tooke them 10+ mins to bring the horchata I hadto ask again for it to be brought I looked around and saw other tables had chips and had to ask for them as well.

First, big problem I see on my receipt they charged me 1 small horchata and 1 $5 horchata in which that is not correct for them to charge me something I never asked for or even got. So it is called stealing or overcharging someone.

Second, My food was cold. And my burrito came with rice and beans on the side and as you see in the pictures I took a couple bites. My rice was hard like if it was the bits that was stuck on the pot and they must have said f it we won't make more rice. It was so hard to chew. I told the girl to let the ppl in the kitchen know it was hard and I didn't even see her go to the back at all. In my opinion not...
