Addison Place — Local services in Jackson

Do Not move into Addison Place Apartments. The manager that's at that place now is very snobbish and talk to ppl any kind of way. I've been telling them ppl since they had taken over that I had a leak in my ceiling and it hasn't been repaired. Mind you, they took over in 2023, so this was in 2024. She did not mind taking rent money but that had started to be a concern to me. The maintenance act like they knew it all about air conditioners but didn't know jack. I had told these ppl that my apartment wasn't getting cold and that I had a curtain in my kitchen, he wanted to say that the reason being is because I had it up blocking so the air wasn't flowing in the living room. Nobody shouldn't live in an unhealthy environment and not being treated fairly. This has been going on for sometime now and I was in the process of looking for another apartment. This woman had sent out notices in July for the ones who were already out there stating that if you want to renew your lease or not, but you had until the end of September to turn it in. I did this on August 12th and on August 14th I received a letter stating that she's not renewing my lease. To make a long story short, my ceiling was covered in mold and mildew, had to border up sides of walls because there were rats coming in. This lady had tried to tear me down but it did not happen. I would not recommend anybody to stay out there. she's messy and listen to this he say/she say crap. They take off whenever they want to. One of the maintenance men does at least do his part, but that other one do not do nothing. it's sad that ppl try to abuse the system and try to bring others down, while they're saying that its not place to be because it's a lie. I will say that ppl vehicles has been broken into and stolen from there and who out of their right mind will get rid of security and not have any because the one that was there did his job. She's very arrogant and tells ppl business to other ppl as well.I really do not see that place staying open long, but I'm satisfied...

This is one of the WORST places to live in Jackson. They use to be a bargain, exchanged for dirty neighbors and the occasional disturbance, now they are just unbearable. Now the rent goes up without any renovations being done to the only apartments. The apartments have no lights in bed/ living room, the appliances only work (my refrigerator door has tape on it). There is paint splattered everywhere it shouldn't be and nothing is ever fixed properly. The walls are extremely thin and can hear everything from the next apartments. The gate is always opened on at least one side and everyone's care has been broken into!!!!!! But they claim to have security and a curtsey officer that is never seen! The office staff continuously changes and get worst by the second. The new manager is unprofessional and rude! They focus more on getting new tenants than keeping the one they have. I complained about my apartment almost burning down due to wiring problems, a month ago, and no one has seen about it yet. They don't care about the safety of their tenants nor how comfortable you are. They renovate apartment from 7am-late at night as if no one has to work.

DON'T RENT HERE. THESE IDIOTS DESEREVE TO GO OUT...

The only thing semi nice was the dog park of which I couldn’t take my dog too because the lock and door hinge has been broken since I moved in.

The sewer line by my apartments has been seeping the nastiest juices from the man hole the runs like a small river all over the side walk and grass and parking lot. So there is no way not to smell or step in sewerjuice.

In a span of a month my heater has over powered my breakers and turn off my power 5 times. There is no emergency call line for maintenance because they “lost the phone”. I have been told “if you see a maintenance man just ask him to fix it cause we can’t call them”. I’ve been told twice that I’ve had my breaker box “replaced” even though I’ve seen them go outside and flip a switch to reset the box. Currently sitting outside the office that opens at 8:00a.m. at 9:37a.m. Because the management team hasn’t “made their way over to this side...
