Horrible service, went last year in August and left with a chemical burn. Seems like Cynthia was too caught up into going on a trip the next day. I felt rushed and she handed me off to a inexperienced stylist that tended to someone else’s hair while I sat there burning from a relaxer. When the inexperienced stylist finally came back to wash out the relaxer, she looked. worried the whole time because she noticed my burns. She washed it out and I noticed she was talking to another stylist about the condition of my hair because my forehead was inflamed! The master cut is a flippin joke (what is master about 2 to 3 snips?!) and when I called Cynthia the next day to talk about the burn and she recommended Neosporin. Seriously?! How about calling me in again to inspect the damage?! Literally one of the worst salon experiences of my life. I thought since I was being handled by a celebrity stylist I was going to get a celebrity experience, but instead I left feeling like I was bamboozled into spending money in the wrong place. 0 stars. Save the response. Yeah, I waited a year to leave this review because I finally had to do a big chop because it was no going back to what I had before, I had to start over! Abliss my behind more like Ajoke. P.S. Yes, I paid because a service was done and if I said something yhall know damn well I wouldn’t be compensated, so I just took my L. Never left a review this bad in my life! Check my google review profile! I have no reason to lie. If you see typos I’m...
Read moreThis is not an upscale salon, just a regular salon that charges too much for average results. I was charged $222.00 for highlights that were not the color I wanted at all. They came out orange, which I said would happen and that I don't like, but was assured that one more visit would have my hair at a lighter color. And I wanted silver which was not possible, but I expressed how I like my hair dark. My fault because I agreed to the highlights. She did a trim that could have been done by me at home, just then tips were cut off and I have layered hair. So for a wash, Orange highlights, bad trim and blowout = $222.00. When I canceled the next appointment for October 15 on 13 October and kept getting texts for the appointment the next day and called to clarify I was basically told that the system didn't recognize the cancellation so I...
Read moreI have known Cynthia, the owner of Abliss for a while, but I finally made the SMART decision to make her my hairstylist. From the moment I entered the salon, EVERYTHING was top tier! The receptionist is so warm & friendly, and her assistant was accommodating & attentive. The beautiful diva, Cynthia was phenomenal! She began by asking me a series of questions about potential factors that could affect my hair, assessed my hair for damage, dryness, & breakage, then colored my hair (platinum blonde), cut & styled it. It is BEAUTIFUL! I’ve gotten tons of compliments and it’s only been two days! I would definitely...
