Girls in White Satin saved my big day. I cannot thank the women who work at this store enough. I walked in the TUESDAY afternoon before my Saturday wedding, and they said to me, “Do not worry, you are not our quickest turn around, and we will get you taken care of.” Before this day, I told Andy, I had waited for this day for 39 years. Never again in my life will I get this opportunity to have my “dream wedding dress” experience - to fall in love with my dress, and to have all my family gathered like this for just me. When my other dress from another shop wasn’t finished in time, I had joked that maybe I could find my dream dress after the wedding and wear it for my funeral. It was a big deal to me, and I lost a lot of sleep and took on a lot of extra stress at a very unfortunate time, but the women at Girls in White Satin made all my dreams come true. They did an entire bridal experience for me on a very short timeline, stayed late without even mentioning it, and told me to pick the dress I loved - not the one that required less alterations - because it was important and they would get it done. They hemmed my lace dress and shorted the straps in two days. I brought them flowers. I had a hand written note in my mailbox in two days. I left with gifts. They didn’t miss any of the finer touches and were so unbelievably professional. I will be forever grateful, and my only regret is not taking my entire bridal party there months ago. 5/6 of my bridesmaids received incorrect sizes for their dresses. All my girls got measured and it seems as though they were measured incorrectly. I did not have any girls get alterations done here due to my own terrible experience years ago. My girls have had to have their alterations lady take in their dress 2-4 sizes. One of my bridesmaids tried on a size 10 dress in store(a little small but good enough to visual in her actual size) they ordered her dress TEN sizes LARGER. No one can convince me that anyone can fit into two different dresses 10 sizes apart what so ever. I called and complained, they only offered to cover alterations after I had already reminded them of messing up the alterations they did on my bridesmaid dress years prior. Another bridesmaid has always worn a double zero or zero(with dress sizing I know things can be different) GIWS wanted to order her a 4, she refused and asked them to order a size 2 knowing it was still going to be to big- and it was. I’m very upset with the experience myself and the bridesmaids have had with GIWS, and were only offered the one thing I didn’t want from the get go- alterations. They’ve always had a great selection of dresses but that’s unfortunately all they have going...

I’m not one to usually write reviews, but I have to say this bridal store is amazing. I had appt yesterday and went in yesterday with my MOH, her young daughter, and soon to be MIL and we was automatically greeted with smiles by the ladies up front. I was having a very bad day, and they made sure to change that. The girl who helped me out trying on dresses was so amazing and helpful. She not only was patient, but she went above and beyond to make sure I said yes to the right dress! She also was very helpful with looking at ideas for the rest of the bridal/groom party!
