Pretty neat little place on the square. The food is pretty standard, not much to expect out of a bar establishment, but the menu does have some decent gems. I especially enjoyed the New York ribeye, w/ a loaded backed potato and coleslaw on the side a few months back. Not a big fan of drinking, but they do have a pool table in there as well, which is nice. If you don't want to deal with the high school / college crowds or the noisy speakers of the other place on the square, then this is definitely a nice little restaurant/bar to check out.

Great bar and restaurant we just ate at the high top and watched the SU game. We tried a few of the appetizers to share at the table. The brussel sprouts were maybe the best I've ever had. I ordered a side for dinner instead of the chips. The brisket sandwich was solid. The mac and cheese must have been great it didn't make it around the table. Maybe onions in it?

This is the WORST place I’ve ever been to in my life. No welcome when you walk in. Server number 4 was a rude old hag from the get go. We ordered two Pop’s which when my husband asked her what drinks she had she put her fingers in my husbands face and slammed her hand down saying very rudely ā€œRight there, we have Coke productsā€ (Which she is lucky I didn’t break her damn hand for that) and once we got our drinks we didn’t drink a drop of it because we wanted to wait for our food and not get filled up on liquid. We sat for ONE HOUR waiting for our food and we were the only customers there. Needless to say we got tired of waiting for our food which was one hamburger smothered in chili and french fries and one plate of bbq rib tips and decided we wanted to leave. The younger waitress wanted us to pay for our food though we never got it to eat it. NOPE!! Not paying for it, she then goes and gets the original rude server, server number 4 and she makes us pay for drinks we never even drank, which cost us $5.50. Server number 4 was rude the entire time, from the time we got there all the way up to the time she made us pay for the Pop’s. While paying for our Pop server number 4 tried to tell us our food was sitting at the window, Okay so number one I’m not going to get up, grab our food and serve ourselves, number two why was our food just sitting at the window? Your old pit bull mauled beat up face should have been out front serving us instead of staying at the bar with tubby tub girl who was stuffing her fat 400lb face. Disgusting employees working at this place. We will NEVER go back to this nasty place. I guess they needed the $5.50 more than us. Don’t even waste your time at this place, give your money to a more deserving place who cares about their customers and cares enough to hire the...

We stopped here on a Friday night for dinner at 6 pm. They seated us quickly. But then the waitress came to take our drink order and had no idea of any of the beers on tap. She then said this was her 4th night working and she didn’t know why they scheduled her for a Friday night after having so little experience. So I ordered a Tito’s and Cranberry. Then had to proceed to tell her that Tito’s was vodka. They brought me straight cranberry juice. When I told her there was no vodka in it she took it back to the bar. When she brought it back she told me that she was gonna have to charge me for a second vodka shot because the bartender insisted she put a shot in the original drink. We had ordered 2 orders of the appetizer homemade chips and sauce. After an hour we asked her where our appetizer was. She looked dumbfounded and said ā€œlet me go checkā€ she brought it out to us 5 mins later. They were cold and soggy. Like they had sat up There for 20 mins before she brought them to our table. So we ate them because we and our 3 boys were starving by that time. So after finishing them and sitting for 10 more mins we finally asked for our bill for the drinks and apps and told her to cancel the 5 dinners we ordered. She never once came back to refill our drinks except asking my husband if he wanted another beer (which he declined). It could probably be a great restaurant If they trained their servers on the menu and drinks and didn’t throw them to the wolves after 4 days of employment. We...

THIS IS NOT A BBQ PLACE.

If you know good BBQ, regardless of which region it's from (East or West N.C., Texas, Memphis, St Louis, Kansas City, or anywhere else that smokes or grills meat), or are southern, do not expect to get anything resembling BBQ here. It seems like a nice, local joint/bar but it is not a place for BBQ. I got the sampler plate. It came with maybe 1/8lb of each: brisket?, Pulled pork?, and chunked turkey, which reminded me of Hormel's canned meat. This came with a side of jalapeno corn muffin and Mac n cheese served on a wet plate that must not have been wiped off after washing. The meat was incredibly bland and had no flavor. Im not convinced the meat is smoked. The sides were lack luster as well. The jalapeno corn muffin was the best food on the plate and it was rather dry. The waiter was nice and humored my questions about the BBQ. Although, it shouldn't be called BBQ. Other menu items may be fantastic, but the name should probably be "Brickhouse...
