School is not geared towards military. Faculty are inexperienced dealing with us. "Military Counselors" seem like they are just regular faculty who were tasked to deal with us. Their online classes do not work with our government computers so you can't do school work during work breaks.
Hidden fees - online classes come with hidden fees in order to take those classes, online books are given "free" because they already charge you unless you stop them ahead of time. JSU phone apps do not really offer anything, even the GEM portion stopped working. Emails are largely spam about offering fake jobs or things happening only on campus. Again, nothing really online.

JSU fit my personality and was the perfect choice as an education major. I will never forget how helpful everyone was with my disabled parents during my freshmen orientation. My professors were very knowledgeable and cared about us students. Most importantly, JSU is a university that listens to its students.
