Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Out of 5 soft drinks, out of napkins, slushee machine broken, freezing cold inside and the cashier just said "I can't tell, it feels humid to me". We ate quickly to get back to our car because it was too cold in there to enjoy our meal, so did other diners who seemed to be upset at their own experience. Ordered milkshakes after our meal to go, cashier and another worker having debate about who was going to make them because they were getting busy again, so it took longer to get those than our entire meal. She told my husband it wasn't her that was taking so long because she didn't make the shakes. I ordered the malted chocolate, it didn't taste like malt, all of the powder was clumped up in the bottom of the shake. This location needs some leadership and somebody who can order a truck since they were out of even basic things. Chick fil A is about to move in down the road, and if you tell them it's cold you'll hear " I'll turn it down it will be my pleasure!" Not "it just feels humid to me". Or excuses why it's not...

Just had a bad eating experience at this restaurant. The food was just ok. The service was bad. Paid $30+ for 2 people for lunch, was overcharged for an extra blizzard and had to get refund. The employees were uninterested in anything but the football on tv or their phones.

Not to mention no condiments anymore on the tables. Unsure who made that decision but we've dined there couple times since they took those away. It's just cheap.

Ironically my son and I usually enjoy the food here. When we walked in we were literally the only customers in the place. Still got treated like we weren't wanted there.

Well, I guess we will try not to bother them anymore by dining there.

ORDERED a snickers blizzard cake 4 days in advance and prepaid in full, scheduled a time of 2pm pickup, arrived an hour late as timing was good til closing...anyways, my blizzard cake was not prepared or ready to go as scheduled and paid for. Very disappointing. All the make front clerks acted like no big deal, and gave me a refund without any apology or anything. This was for a timed surprise birthday party and so I had to quickly come up with something to replace the blizzard cake.
