I was unbelievably surprised by some of the prices - very reasonable. I was able to buy the things that I wanted. I’ve got two packages of chicken which I need for my Pets and for me and water, milk, cottage cheese, 1/2 lb roast beef lunch meat, bread, lettuce, & bananas. My bill was $56. It is amazing. The employees were so friendly and the store was very clean. It took me a while to figure out where everything was, but I was extremely happy and now that I’ve been in the new location and I was treated so well I will definitely go back. Prices are good, but you just have to shop around cause some items are higher than expected and you have to make up your mind - if you want to get something like that you should make another trip so that it’s on sale or a lower price. UPDATE: the bag of chicken that I got for $6.99 was a big disappointment. The chicken legs are huge and they’re stringy and tough. I cooked them for one hour as chicken soup. I do this all the time so I know what it should taste like. I hate when a store gives you a good price on some thing and then sells you crap. These were very old birds & lots of fat on them. Read moreI placed my first online grocery order last Thursday, 1/25/24. I will NEVER ORDER ONLINE FROM WINN DIXIE AGAIN! It has been a horrible experience! When you place an online order from Winn Dixie they immediately charge your account an estimated cost for your order. When you pick up your order Winn Dixie again charges your account a second time for the actual cost of your order. Double billing charges on your account for one grocery order! If you are using your checking account BUYER BEWARE because it might overdraw your account, and getting the first estimated charge credited back to your account can take FROM 5 TO 10+ DAYS. Today 1/31/24, a week after my online order was placed and Winn Dixie has not credited back the estimated charge to my checking account. I have called Winn Dixie customer service numerous times and they are no help. They will explain how they handle this overcharging issue and how long it takes to get your money credited back. They won't help you! Contacting the store manager won't help either. Walmart, and Publix shopping is my options for future online shopping. I will never use Winn...

Lately shopping on a Tuesday means I may not be able to find the sale items I am there for. If I'm willing to hunt someone down I'll be given a "rain-check". Unfortunately it can become a merry-go-round because I'll find the missing "rain-check" item on my next shopping trip but I'll possibly be missing a sale item from the new week that brought me there.
Today I just gave up, didn't ask for a "rain-check" and emptied my cart, (including the "rain-check" item from the previous week), before heading to Walmart.
I'm going to try a new approach where I don't shop on Tuesday's and Wednesday's. I have a feeling I may be able to eliminate the issue by not shopping on the last day of a sale week or the first day of a new sale week. I...
