There was an ant in my food.

The manager came over to our table after I complained, hands covered in grease and burnt cheese insisting that it was just burnt cheese and not an ant (it was very clearly a cooked ant). She had a terrible attitude about it and was very aggressive in the way she spoke to me and my family. Previously she had been very nice.

I didn’t want to argue with her because thinking about it was making me grossed out and my teen gag (we’d both eaten some.) so I said “fine I believe you. Everyone is still grossed out and we’ve barely touched our food and would like a refund.” She said since it wasn’t and ant and her “kitchen doesn’t have bugs” she couldn’t refund everyone.

Look, things happen. Maybe the kitchen isn’t infested with ants, maybe it rode in on a delivery. Maybe I am wrong and this thing that had three body segments, a clear head, and the remains of legs was just very artfully sculpted burnt cheese. I’m 100% positive it was an huge ass ant and nobody wanted it to not be an ant more than me. I promise. Either way it was super gross and the greasy burnt cheese scraped out of the kitchen and displayed all over the (assumed) managers hands was also pretty gross.

I typically only leave positive reviews because anywhere can have a bad service. If she had been kinder I wouldn’t leave this review even if she hadn’t refunded anything. The way this was handled was upsetting on top of the ant.

The food that we did taste was mediocre but it was the end of the day so probably just overcooked...

We placed a to go order and the nicest girl (she had beautiful curly black hair) helped us place it. We didn’t know what to order and she gave us the best options. We ordered 2 corn dogs and got a free Thai Tea boba. She suggested the best coatings and toppings that we absolutely loved. Potato, regular with sweet sauce. Original, regular with Cheetos. So good! The Thai Tea Boba was super delicious too!!! We also ordered a Chicken Katsu k-pop bowl! Very yummy too!! The nicest guy (very cool blonde hair) gave us our order with a takeout menu we requested. Both staff members looked like famous celebrities and had the most kindest service we’ve ever had. We thanked them for being so nice and they thanked us too!!

Having such wonderful staff and topping it off with such delicious food, we had the best ending to a wonderfully memorable date night! Thank you all so much! We will definitely recommend to...

My husband and daughter love Korean food, but were super disappointed in their dishes. My husband’s spicy pork dish had very little flavor, and the pork was mealy. He said it tasted like a frozen tv dinner. My daughter’s chicken ramen bowl was just sour tasting. They both looked good but tasted poor. I got the potato covered cheese corndog. Big mistake. The potato pieces were flavorless and fried out, the corndog batter tasted like burnt funnel cake, and there was zero flavor in the cheese. Over all a very disgusting item. After all of the positive reviews we were hoping for better. The inside is clean and tidy and the people working were...

Ordered Kimchi tofu soup and bulgogi bibimbap. The soup was a bit salty but still okay when ate with rice together. The pork slices were quite tender and went well w the soup. The bulgogi bibimbap was full of various topping in addition to the beef. The rice mixed with the red Korean gochucjang sauce was quite tasty. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 6 compared to what I had in Seoul. But by Jax’s standard, I give it an 8. Next time, I would also like to try their kimbap (similar to Japanese hand roll).

New Korean fried chicken restaurant in San Jose and was there for the grand opening. The food was pretty good and you get a bowl of soup when you order one of their main meals. I had the teriyaki chicken which was actually very good and plenty of food. I also got one of their boba drinks which was very good as well. The staff is friendly and the service was very good as well. Even though they were busy they seem to be able to keep things moving.
