This was amazing. To actually step where the first colonist stepped was a whole new experience. To be there whole the archaeologists were at work was incredible. I felt like I was in a documentary. What made it even better was that we recently saw a docu on this site. We also were lucky enough to be there when a professor from William and Mary did a reenactment of a colonial wife. It was good to see it restored. I was a bit concerned about the excavation areas. Shovels were being used forcefully and could break items you're looking for when used with such force.
