Had an appointment for 4:30 pm . Didn’t start receiving services till 8 pm. Yes the store was busy but my services were delayed because of a an employee who didn’t want to work. Employee told me they didn’t feel like blending my hair because it was too late within the day. The first few braiders work was not neat nor correct size. The owner called herself getting upset and yelling at me in front of all customers that I was wrong for expressing how I felt. Owner also tried to reprice me after seeing the damage to my hair. I wanted waist length small Boho Knotless. I was told 260 before arrival and then quoted 325 after arrival. After all the back and forth I was finally able to get my hair done. Arriving at 4:30 pm and leaving at 11:30 PM. I had 8 braiders working on my head which I thought would be a good thing turned out to be a nightmare. My parts are all different shapes and sizes. The back of my head 48 braids has no BoHo hair despite there being hair left over after service. that’s 8 rows of braids that are boneless. If the owner wasn’t so argumentative I would be willing to return to fix my issues. But since she is problematic I will continue my course of action which is suing. You have 2 options. Refund me my 260 or go to court in which I will I’ll be requesting payment for wasted time, and emotional distress and court fees. You played with the wrong one time and money. I will give you 24hrs to address the issue. If addressed in time frame I’ll cancel the court proceedings.

Read moreAfter over 15 years of loyalty.. to post this is hard. Please understand that this has taken two weeks for me to post this. I have spent over 7000 dollars and more with this business over the years. I considered this business almost as family. I will not totally disgrace this business by posting every details, which is totally the God in me.. Just know that despite your loyalty to them, and asking to speak privately on the matter, it is apparent that money is the only thing that is cared about. I hope that they don’t continue on this path because you will eventually lose ALL your customers. Not the here and there, but your LOYAL ones.. this is bad business. And as a business owner myself, I know what I’m talking about. I’m sure the owner will say they don’t care and dont come back if you feel that way, but time will tell and the universe always comes around full circle. I left that shop, after years of loyalty and money spent, with hurt feelings and a half head done.. not one person reached out. Only insults in their native language which they think no one understands. Well google translate is a real thing and I’m trying not to post what was being said about me.. after all these years of calling me a sister.. make your own choices ladies, but do not be fooled. There is NO loyalty at the end of the day even to those customers that have been loyal to you and brought business to you and also supported individuals and their families that work there. I pray God mercy on them.. never forget when you were a small business and those that...
Read moreWhen I arrived minutes before my 9:30 appointment on 8/25, I was greeted by one stylist who had someone in her chair. Every other stylist was severely late! Including the owner. It was about 6 or 7 people waiting for them to show. I finally get seated with a stylist and request medium braids. The stylist adds and removes the braid twice and does not give me medium. It is now 10:30 and I have one incorrect sized braid in my head. As a result, I get moved to the owners chair.. Seconds later after a dispute with another stylist and client, I get moved to a chair with no stylist. Literally seconds later I get moved AGAIN! This time to the stylist that said she didn’t want to do the previous person’s hair. I then reiterated that I wanted MEDIUM KNOTLESS BRAIDS. Instead, I received an overly full head of smalls. Knotless braids are meant to be light weight and evenly proportional with the parts and braid size. My braids are heavy and uneven! Countless packs of hair was used and I did not leave the salon until 7pm. Wasted my entire day. I watched two people who got started after me leave. I haven’t sat 5+ hours for braids in years!! Let alone 10! I remember when “going to the africans” was considered a high end luxury experience. I think that can be achieved here if they show up on time, talk less, take fewer breaks, braid proportionately, and listen to what the customer requests. Braids are not a one size fits all. I doubt I’ll...
