Today my wife & I went to see the movie Reagan. Before I get started on my ticket buying experience, the movie was AWESOME! I recommend it to everyone! Hereās what we experienced buying tickets. I walked up asking for 2 tickets to Reagan. The girl at the counter said she needed to see inside my wifeās purse, I said; No you donāt, itās an invasion of privacy. Then she got the manager. He came out, told me it was company policy to search purses. I asked him if he had a search warrant. He said no but it was written company policy. I asked him where it was written. He told me it was on the front door. It was on the door & I read it. They want to search purses for weapons & snacks! š³ I went back in & the manager said we could take the purse out to our vehicle or leave. My wife took her purse out. How Ridiculous! So, I am recently retired & wanted to do something fun & see a good movie! This ruined our Fun time!! Did they think we were going to smuggle a weapon, snacks or drinks into the movie? Stupid!! Well, the prices for drinks, popcorn, & snacks are OUTRAGEOUS, but we all know that from the other posts. Well, we paid, went toward the theater & I turned around & asked the manager if he wanted to search the pockets in my cargo shorts! He said no, they donāt do that!! Well, that will be next!! Weāll probably have to take our shoes off too!! š¤ If we go back, guess where Iām going to hide my snacks!! Ha, ha!! š I am 66 years olds, born & raised in Jasper. No other place in town do we have to open a purse to show contents. What is happening to our town! I hope the OWNER of this theater reads these reviews because most are negative. Maybe some changes need to be made? Also, if you wouldnāt charge so much for the drinks & snacks, you might sell more! You need to have your National Sales Manager evaluate what is going on at all your theaters!!. Hereās a novel idea, if you get good or great reviews, your profits might increase. š¤ šµ BTW, my father worked for the contractor that built this theater. I was in it when they were painting the walls, putting on the wallpaper & staining the concrete floors. I thought it was an awesome addition to Jasper, IN. I knew the previous owners. WOW, how things change when new...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlan was to take our 15 year old daughter and her 15 year old friend and let them watch a movie. When arriving we find out that anyone under 15 is not allowed to watch a movie without someone over 18 after 6 o'clock. I told everyone I would just take the kids to a movie theater that didn't have these rules. I really didn't want to watch Barbie. My wife felt guilty and decided we woukd just go in and let them and another group of well behaved 15 and 17 year Olds that couldn't go in because they didn't have a 18 year old to be with them. When purchasing tickets they gave us a total that added up to everyone paying adult prices. I asked why we need to pay adult prices if they aren't allowed to be in the theater without being with someone over 18. The manager was very rude and made several comments about us being responsible for the kids and their actions. I understand teenagers will get loud and annoy people sometimes but if they are refusing to take these kids in then what are they supposed to do on a Saturday evening? I also found out that another parents wet back to the register after buying his underage boys and himself a ticket and getting a refund for only his ticket while his kids stayed in the movie and he went shopping! Not sure why some are allowed but some aren't! I guess they prefer these kids to run the streets and find ways to get in trouble and do things they shouldn't be. Needless to say after this experience we will never go back to this movie theater EVER AGAIN and i will tell this story to everyone...

On Friday I took my 6 year old and 4 year old to see Frozen 2. We arrived about 5 minutes before the show started and I thought it was strange that there weren't any 'commercials' running...usually those are going ahead of time. But, new owners, maybe they did away with them.
NOPE! Instead they wait until the listed MOVIE time, and start them. You read that right. Add that to the movie premiers and we sat for almost 30 minutes before the movie started!! Absolutely ridiculous. My son finished his popcorn before the movie even started. We had dinner plans following and were 30 minutes late for that due to these stupid commercials.
If they continue with this practice,...
