Where do I start really not only is the best place to find great deals with fresh quality food but the owner Jimmy Lee is a very great man and in fact I remember when I was a kid Jimmy Lee would help my father with food for me and my brother's and sisters when times he was scaping by as a single father which he always thought the world of Mr. Jimmy Lee and we were forever grateful for all the kind things him and his family has done for my family but Mr.Lee would do it for anyone and didn't mind one bit and may he be forever blessed thank you. The store also has a gentleman that works the produce section and been there for over 38 years or more and remember him when I was little and now I bring my kids and that man has always greeting everyone and is very professional he is always the same in good spirits and cares about what he does and is a very valuable member of the sons family which all the employees that have work there is very friendly and helpful. This store cares about their customers and the community and always keeping a very clean store fully stocked with name brand products to qualify value brands with great low prices. They have a pharmacy with a great pharmacist and great crew that also care about you and your loved ones and let not forget the Sons have a bbq pit restaurant on the side which mouth watering bbq so when it's just for you or 2 or even the whole crew let them serve you and your family and you want regret it neither will your family and friends. The best grocery store in Jasper. They have the freshest meats you can buy. They always have a great selection of fresh produce. This store has been in my life since I was 2 years old. My Mother would take her parents and my Daddy's Parents to get their staples once a month. Staples are what they bought that they didn't grow in the garden or the meats that they raised. Coffee, sugar, tea etc. I have no doubt I will shop at SON'S SUPERMARKET as long as I can shop. The employees are so good at their jobs. They are always dressed neatly. They will help you find anything you can't. The store is located on 9th Ave, just passed the overpass. Go see these wonderful people that have spent their lives building a business to be proud of. We don't have many grocery store choices here in Jasper. Walmart is always so crowded, Food Lion doesn't carry a lot of what we are looking for and Winn-Dixie is a good option to finding things. Son's was closest to where we were! Son's has a rather good selection of most things. A good selection of produce, meats and all. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars? Their prices. At least for the things we normally purchase, just about every item is a tad higher here. Now that EVERYTHING is getting so out of hand expensive - every bit saved makes a bigger...
