I have to trim my review down, because if I include everything I want to say, this would be a novel. I met Steve and Rob, after taking my Benz CLK500 to a butcher shop in Greensburg. Without getting to far into that, I was completely disgusted with what had been done to my car, and am not comfortable with electronics especially on a German vehicle. So I found Skeptik Innovations and went to the shop to meet with them. I wish I would have met them first, but am thrilled to have found them none the less. The stereo shop in Greensburg literally hacked and cut up everything in the dashboard of my car and absolutely nothing worked. Steve met me and immediately pulled some things apart and diagnosed most of it within minutes. They are a busy shop, and after this experience, I can totally see why. I was expecting to have to wait a while to get in, but as luck would have it, a cancelation came in as I was standing there and Steve offered that slot to me. I left my Benz with him and he ran me home. The next day, I stopped down and could not beleive the mess he had to clean up with my car. The owner of the other shop had wires grounded wrong, cut and spliced to things they weren't supposed to be spliced to, and as a result of his butchery, my car was most definitely destined for a car fire. I was completely disgusted and frustrated but Steve reassured me that it would be okay and that he would do whatever it took to get me up and running safely and with some sound! He kept my car in the shop over the weekend, and first thing Monday he was back at it. He needed some replacement parts for what had been done to it previously, and offered to get them in and work with me on the cost, as I wasn't prepared for the extra expense that resulted from the other shop(and I use that term loosely). After another day or 2, Steve called and told me it was done and ready to be picked up. When I got there, I literally couldnt beleive the amazing job he had done. I left the car with a factory head unit, and disc changer in the glove box. And now, I'd be leaving his shop with an amazing 10 inch touchscreen, installed and wired beautifully. He had to replace all of my speakers due to the factory system being shorted out, which involved not only rewiring the entire system, but removing the interior door panels, and much of the center console to which he and Rob did and absolutely beautiful job! Words cannot describe the absolute amazement i feel for such a professional job they did on my car. What was once a non-functional, hacked up mess, that would not even power on, was now reborn into a factory quality, upgraded and fully functional masterpiece. Thanks to Steve and Rob, at Skeptic Innovations, I am proud once more to be behind the wheel of my little Benz. With integrated GPS, Bluetooth phone, streaming, wireless access, and so many other up-to-date options i cant list them, i left that shop wearing the best smile I've worn in years. The entire experience was a prime example of skilled craftsmanship and professionalism, mixed with compassion and understanding for my situation. The bill was far less than I had expected, but was still a bit of a struggle for me, being that I had health issues and wasn't fully back to work, but Steve worked with me and made it so affordable for me, and that is unheard of these days. For what these guys did for my vehicle, my financial situation, and my sanity is nothing short of a miracle. I cannot say enough good things about Steve and Rob, they seriously treated me like family and I guarantee they will do the same for you. Before you even consider going anywhere else, you owe it to yourself to visit Skeptic Innovations in Jeanette,. You will be amazed with the capabilities these gentleman possess, as well as the treatment you will receive from them. My only wish in this, is that there was a higher rating on this review, because 5 stars doesn't even scratch the surface of my experience overall, and I will NEVER look elsewhere for any of my automotive, and...

I’ll preface my review by saying I’m an extremely difficult person to please when dealing with my vehicles. Honestly, I’m a PIA. I’m very particular and deeply concerned with attention to detail. I do my research before I commit to a particular business to invest my money. With that being said, all the research I did pointed to Steve. When I first met with him I immediately sensed he was extremely passionate about his craft. He showed me some of his past projects and offered up some great ideas for my particular build. By the end of our conversation I knew Steve was the guy I wanted to take my car to the next level. He corresponded with me frequently throughout the process and kept me posted on the progress. When all was said and done, I was absolutely mind blown. This build was by no means a routine speaker/amp/wiring install. This was a tall task and Steve overdelivered. I recently had heated seats installed and my passenger seat was damaged. I scheduled my service through my dealership (Toyota of Greensburg) and they sublet the job to Skeptik Innovations. When I got my car back I noticed the damage and Toyota said they would reach out and see what they (Skeptik) wanted to do about it. Skeptik claims that the damage was already there and they are going to do nothing.

I took my car back to Skeptik to look at it. When I got there they said they had looked at their notes and that there had been something in the crease of the seat that got on the seat when they removed the upholstery. They were able to clean off the 2 large spots on the seat. I appreciate that they were able to clean it up and wanted to make it right.
