Bought our tonno cover and step bars from tc and had a great experience. Then decided on a dvd system and after install never received answers or a solution. I paid $420 for a dvd system that sells on crutchfield for $259 and even cheaper on Amazon. Then the $80 install fee. Took it home and reading the manual I realized it was not the name brand I was promised (a $399 model) but a knock off. The instructions said to insert the dvd backwards and for batteries use the ones included. You dont insert the dvd backwards and no batteries in the controller. So I called tc to ask what size battery goes in. He tells me that they have some there...of course you do...the batteries that came with the kit! They never tested the system. It is loud. As in the motor that spins the dvd. Have that grinding behind your ear as you drive around. The system has put light scratches on every dvd I have inserted. The volume and speakers plays on 1 of 3 choosable radio stations. This is a problem as you travel and can hear the station and dvd at the same time fighting so you have to switch the station on both dvd and car. When asked to fix or replace I was told they would call me back. Never got a call back after even speaking with another guy a week later. I wont be returning for the lift I wanted or the rims. I will find...
Read moreIn a recent purchase of a radio, the sales associate informed me that enabling Apple CarPlay and video playback would incur an additional $100 charge. However, I was unaware that my radio already included these features, as the packaging was incomplete. This revelation has left me feeling deceived, as the feature should have been included at no additional cost. Given my limited knowledge of radio wiring, I believe this oversight would have gone unnoticed by most consumers. Upon inquiring about the taped-up port, the individual who installed the radio in my new vehicle expressed confusion. This incident has led me to believe that they attempted to exploit my ignorance for financial gain. I will refrain from patronizing their establishment until the manager or owner addresses this matter. Taking advantage of customers is unacceptable and should not...
