I gave it three stars because my last experience here was really nice and there was a young lady who helped me throughout everything and made it really easy for me and I was able to come in and go quickly. But I recently just went, and this experience was awful and not only did I experience racism, but the lady I dealt with was completely agitated and impatient. She would ask me what I needed, and when I would tell her, it’s almost as if she rolled her eyes at me. I am perfectly fluent in English, I was born and raised in the states and I have a bachelors degree. The lady asked me if I knew English in a degrading tone, and I said yes. Then she proceeded to ask me what other languages I know so she can get me someone to give me some assistance. I proceeded to tell her that I am perfectly fluent in English. I believe it was because I am Muslim and wearing muslim attire, so she probably thinks I’m uneducated and don’t know English even though I was speaking to her in English….i don’t quite understand why i was treated that way tbh scared to go back again because i’m a introvert so that experience was...

On top of being unemployed and going through the hellscape that is unemployment and getting SNAP, the website refused to take the image of my ID, so I had to go in person and all they had to do was scan in my photo ID. She claimed to have done that, said it would be on my account by EOD, yet here I am TWO WEEKS LATER and it's still not on my account. I do not have a car so it's not easy for me to get to this office so I'm currently on the phone hoping I can email or fax my ID in on my own since they aren't capable of doing so in the office. I had a terrible experience at this location. Just a heads up they will not treat you like a human being worthy of respect if you are transgender. The young lady who was "helping" me asked for my ID that clearly states FEMALE on the ID and then proceeded to intentionally misgender me while a supervisor was present and observing the interaction. As I corrected her they pretended like I was not speaking or saying anything at all as if I wasn't even standing there and continued to misgender me.
