I love this place! Pretty great bowling alley equipped with a full bar room with awesome drinks, good food for a bowling alley, vending machines, jukebox, pool table, plenty of washrooms, bowling shop and bowling ramps for those with disabilities (they have two). Habetler’s service is very good considering that they are short staffed because good help is hard to find nowadays. They host different leagues, groups and on Fridays Chicago Park District does their bowling program for people with disabilities of all kinds. So the real star of the show…Sang in the bowling shop. Last Friday, I came here with my neighbors/friends to stay with Jocelyn at her weekly bowling for disabled people. I bought her her own Superman bowling ball & bag for her early Christmas gifts. Ball wasn’t drilled with holes and so I decided to walk into Habetler’s bowling shop and asked if they drilled holes (which probably was a dumb question LOL). I explained that Jocelyn has severe Cerebral Palsy and doesn’t really need the holes because she pushes the ball down a ramp to bowl. Also, that these were early Christmas gifts and she just wanted the holes to feel like everyone else she bowls with. Sang said he still wanted to measure her hands and fingers for the holes. I proceeded to ask Sang how much it would cost. He initially gave me a price and said he can make the time right away to measure her and have the ball ready in ten minutes. I than brought Jocelyn and her mom into the shop and Sang measured her with such care and professionalism. He than said to all of us, “I’m not going to charge you all anything. This is my Christmas gift to her.” I still offered to pay several times but he refused. I almost busted out in tears. Super unexpected and heartwarming. Sang came back out to where we were waiting to bowl and asked if we wanted him to inscribe her name on the ball. We both got excited and said a big ol’ “YES!”. He asked what name she wanted and how to spell it. I asked how much would he like to do that and again he refused any of my offers. Ten minutes later he brought the ball out very nicely drilled and inscribed. He’s clearly amazing at his craft and an incredibly awesome human being. He walked to the washroom and I stopped him when he came out. I thanked him so much and told him she absolutely loves the ball, his work and that she’s bowling even better than ever. He told me he was so happy to see her smile and that it is contagious. His kindness, generosity, his skills and professionalism are the real gifts. Please consider supporting a small local business and get your bowling needs met by Sang. I’m sangin’ his praise, as we’re so grateful, touched. We will always remember the kindness of a stranger for a young disabled girl that just wanted her own bowling ball and to bowl with the rest of the other people she likes and loves.

Went on a Saturday April 2023 And was surprised to be charged $103.00 per lane, we where told 10 ppl max in a lane. I was also charged $20.80 for 4 pairs of shoes. Last time we where there maybe about a year ago I don't recall spending that much. ALSO the jukebox , if u download the app theres no way to see how many songs are ahead of you.. Had to WAIT WAAAY TO LONG for my songs to play and there wasn't many people in the bowling alley.. (i know Habetler has no control over this, just FYI) Last time I will go there.

We went bowling here, and it was enjoyable! We celebrated my son's 6th birthday at this venue, and everyone, both kids and parents, had an amazing time. This was the best kids' birthday party we've ever been to or hosted for our kids! The service and communication were outstanding, and we highly recommend this place for a fun family time or a birthday party!

I wanted to share what happened to my daughter when she when on a field trip to Habetler Bowl. She went there on Wednesday with her camp and I gave her $20 so she can buy something to eat for herself. When I picked her up from camp I asked her did you get a receipt when you ordered your food? She said yes but they took it when they gave me my food. So I asked her where her change was at and she said they only gave me $1 back and some change. I said what do you mean $1 back and change? I said what did you order and she said I ordered a slice of pizza. I said Izabellah a slice of pizza does not cost 17, 18 dollars....she said mommy they messed up on my order. I asked her how and she said I asked the guy for a slice of cheese pizza and when my order was ready he gave me a 16” pizza and I told him I could not eat all that by myself so he took the pizza back, cut it into 4 slices but only gave my daughter one slice of pizza but charged her for a whole pizza. So you know I went up there....the manager “David” had the nerve to tell me what was I suppose to do with the rest of the pizza?? I said I’m sorry but how is that my daughters fault that you messed up on her order?? Then you are not going to give her the difference for a slice of pizza your going to charge her for a full pizza but only give her a slice?? To sum up the story she got her money back and I just want to make the parents out there aware of what they are doing to our children. He tried to rip my daughter off and I was not going to allow to let that go. It’s a shame that a man took advantage of my daughter like that. He clearly sold pizzas by the slice and could of sold them and gave my daughter her money back but he refused. I would never go back here and give these people my business....

Bowled there, asked about a senoir discount on a weekday morning, counter attendant looked at me like I had two heads and said no way. Paid $5.50 a game plus tax. We had trouble with pinsetter giving partial racks and the scorer giving scores without bowling. All the reset buttons were disconnected so if you needed a rerack you had to go ask at the counter. Our 3rd game was shut off before the 10th frame, when we asked it to be turned on we were told we bowled one frame too many, (he did turn it on for the tenth frame)we had done a frame erase when it had given a score without bowling. The attendant gave us a hard time and came and bowled next to us to show us what he said we did wrong,he said the desk computer is never wrong and if we didn't like it don't come back,he needn't worry. We wont be back. I've been bowling for 60 years and never had been treated like that at a bowling alley,no wonder it was empty on a...
