IDEA - European Furniture — Local services in Jefferson Township

Greedy and rude store management, overpriced and over advertised products. Paid almost 4 grand for the furniture but wasn't provided with free delivery (to local address). My expectations expressed to the store manager ended with rude response lecturing me with F.O.B. type of statements like: "..this is the U.S.A not Europe ...etc". No respect to customer whatsoever. I should have give up this purchase. My mistake I didn't and swallowed all of this. I just wanted to buy what my wife liked and make her happy.

My store stuff experience was fairy positive up to the moment when I started to feel like I'm getting ripped off $$$ on the product I'm trying to order. This is because my (marginal) furniture customization requests started to be priced too high ($$$). In addition to this, store stuff become to contradict herself while presenting the product features. Proudly advertised retractable "sleeping function" had been quickly renamed to "foot rest" when I indicated it's design flaws. The furniture was described to me like "space industry product", which always look excellent, resistant to daily use, stains, water washable, scratch, cut, sunlight, kids proof...etc. Basically whatever I asked for I was answered, that it's proof of :) Once I took decision about placing an order, they were trying to sell me extra ($$$) furniture cosmetics to remove stains, discoloration or keep furniture in some impossible to describe logically, superior condition. Why I should need all this stuff when this what I am buying is resistant to everything I can think off ? :)

The furniture, which I finally purchased (w/o custom changes and cosmetics package) become not so excellent in the reality. In the 2nd year of daily use the mattress deformed from the original shape, upholstery fabric worn unevenly and changed color. Sleeping function retracting mechanism started to stuck occasionally. All the failure symptoms are typical for European mid range class furniture products (IMHO). They just here receive all the hype and blessings for the supernatural product :) I don't think I'm going buy there ever again. I've learned my lesson already. For sure their competition take...

It's a lovely store with beautiful furniture. Izabella was exceptionally professional and polite. She was able to answer all of my questions. The store environment was welcoming without the extra added pressure like all other retail stores. All staff members were courteous and friendly. I got lost in conversation which rarely happens LOL. Izabella even offered coffee, tea or water which i thought was amazing!! It was nice to see furniture that was made with good quality and for the price very reasonable. Izabella was honest and upfront about cost and variations to the furniture I was looking at. This furniture may be custom made but it's truly worth the wait. The craftsmanship is impeccable and ergonomically correct. I was shocked and suprised to learn I could get what I wanted in different colors and materials which is rare. I will definitely come back and order furniture in near future. I would like to thank Izabella for being such a delightful person. Thank you for the best experience I have ever had shopping for furniture. P.S. I apologize for coming off a bit harsh in the beginning. I didn't know what to expect coming from places where they are pushy and trying to sell me something I don't want /not...

I will say, this is by far the nicest, most customer friendly experience that we have ever encountered at any furniture store in the greater Chicagoland area. Their Showroom/floor is stunning, and by far- have more superior items than any of the more "branded" high end furniture stores in the area. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and were not forced into a quick sale or purchase. They custom make most items, and clearly explain the process, turnaround time and pricing. They have been in Business for 27 years, driven by: customer service, passion for their product but more importantly- want to help their customers find their best fit for their home. We even met the manager after we purchased a table, and we was as sincere and honest- as anyone could be. He even provided us a discount on shipping and install.
