Rating 2 stars because the location is nice, there is a marina, the people who live here are somewhat friendly, apartments are spacious and the parking spaces are decent. The management office that runs this place is horrendous. There are two separate HOAs, the main port liberte hoa and the condo N hoa. I live in condo 1 where the staff is not knowledgeable in general property management and construction Maintence. They continually hire more and more people to do a simple job and increase monthly fees. The shuttle service (to grove street) is absolutely horrible and there are many times when it just does not arrive. The pool is nice but the guest policy charges you $7 per outside guest (2 guest max) so only residents can use it (defeats the purpose of a pool). I pay $710 a month in hoa fees for basically no service. Unless you can get a unit for extremely cheap, I would stay away. Attend an open board meeting to see...
