Inwood Aquarium — Local services in Jersey Village

This is a small business type setup with no frill and absolutely no chill on presentation. If you are okay with that, I'd recommend a visit for some healthy and well priced fish. I mostly checked out the freshwater livestock which I'd say is 70% of the store. Most of his fish are community and he has a decent cichlid collection of semi-aggressive to aggressive fish. He does keep various Flowerhorns if you are trying to source those. He has your usual dry goods (foods/meds/supplements) and tank necessities like lights, hoods, pumps, filters, etc. to get you set up and going. Lighting can be improved in here and a lot of the tanks aren't going to best display his fish he keeps. However, I haven't lost a single fish I've bought from him yet, for my tanks or others.

Owner was nice to me and said he's been in the fish game a long time, way before many others. Would go there again because of it's proximity and I enjoy supporting small business. Keep your expectations as low as his prices and you'll be fine. I took a few pictures and updated his Google profile for him.

This is probably the best fish store because of the prices. I haven't seen any other places that has nice exotic fish for a really good price. He has fish tanks, fish, and birds for sale. The place has a 90s vibe but it is still somewhat nice. He is a very nice person. I feel like if he had more fishes this would be my NUMBER ONE store. Best fish stores I have seen is Inwood Aquarium and 360 Aquarium. This stores has the most beautiful looking discus I have ever seen. I drove 40 mins one way from south houston to here and it is worth the drive. The owner is super cool and nice. All fishes in tank look super healthy and good.

it sucks the owner does not do a lot of marketing and I have to find him after buying overpriced fishes from other stores and some of them die.
