Dollar General — Local services in Johnson City

This Dollar General is pretty convenient to the Boones Creek Area. There's sometimes long lines, but normally all staff is friendly. Sometimes, things seem overly crowded in the iles or shelves, though. I particularly feel like they hang onto stuff too long or maybe need to have more clearance items on sale. I do like the set up, which is typical in some ways, but in many others is not. They do have nice clearance on clothes often and most the time carry larger sizes, too. Sometimes, there are some good deals on DVD combos, too. I recommend go later in the morning before lunch or early evening after lunch. It seems evening's are the most busy times. This store needs more employees! Stock sitting every where. The checkout stayed lined up back into the main aisle going across the front of the store. I seen 2 other employees, one evidently being the manager but neither was offering to open another register. A handicap person such as me has no chance getting to some products for stock and clutter. Can't get my rollator thru and I can't let go...

Went in for a water bottle tonight, among other things. The young man behind the counter informed me he couldn’t ring it up because it had no bar code.
