Premier Appliance — Local services in Johnson City

When I bought my house in 2024, I purchased a new Speed Queen washer/dryer set from Premier during one of their specials, where they came with rebate offers. The buying/installing experience was extremely easy and hassle free. Caleb is so easy to work with and Justin was the technician who installed the set for me. No issues at all! I highly recommend them.

A little over a year later, I had a draining issue. I had a house sitter and a blanket tore that they washed, but it didn't have any issue because once I got home I myself did about 3 loads of laundry and on the final load, the washing machine just wouldn't drain, and it was full of water/clothes. This happened on a Tuesday night. Wednesday morning I called them and they were slammed and couldn't get to me really until the following Monday, but were going to try to get to me Wednesday afternoon or as soon as possible in between already scheduled service calls. Just in case it was going to be a couple of days I spent some time Wednesday morning and hand emptied the washing machine/rung the clothes and had them drying outside in the sun. I called them back later Wednesday morning to let them know I had least gotten the water/clothes out so it wasn't as much of an emergency and I was ok to wait until Monday. Monday the technician came out that afternoon, and he did show me where the blanket batting was clogged in the pump. That is when I called the house sitter and they confirmed a blanket had torn, but again I was doing loads myself, so she didn't think it had done any damage. Moments after the tech left, I went to start a cycle and it did not want to fill with water. It was spinning and counting down as if it was washing but no water was in the machine. I called them back, Caleb said to unplug it for 10 minutes and it should reset the computer and to call back if it didn't. It didn't. The owner himself came to my house the next day and double checked everything and fixed it very quick. Ultimately, the computer was stuck in a 'cycle' mode, so he set it to finish a short cycle to get it out of that 'stuck mode' and then he ran a short cycle or hot water, cold water, drain/spin and I am currently back up and running and my clothes are being washed!

All in all, from buying to installing, to a random issue (user error and user confusion) popping up it has been a very good experience dealing with this company.

Understandable, we all get frustrated when issues pop up that derail our normal routine, and having to wait a couple of days to me was not a big deal. It wasn't their fault, so I was ok. I really did appreciate Caleb's patience with my repeated calls figuring out initial issues, appointments, coming back a second time.

We've all worked with businesses who lack in customer service and support. This one is not one of them. Buying something is easy, it's usually when issues arise that you learn the true nature of a company. This one is great!

Speed Queen itself comes with a 7 year warranty. My parents had/have one, and it's going on almost 25 years now with only 2 issues in its time. I hope this set is going to be just like. I think it's well worth the money. I am so so so happy with this set so far. With this washer, the front panel comes off and you have access to the drain pump (bottom right) and everything right there! You don't have to tip it over or get to the back of it. My wife and I purchased new appliances for our home from Premier Appliance, and we couldn't be more happy. From the minute we walked in the door they went above and beyond to be sure our questions were answered...and we had a lot of them. We spent probably and hour and a half or more in the store comparing different appliances, features, etc. These folks know their appliances. The service doesn't end on the front end either. The delivery guys were top-notch also! Because we weren't 100% ready for the install when the electric range, dishwasher, and microwave arrived, we asked that they be unloaded on the porch. That could've been where it stopped. However, these guys asked to come in to take a look at where everything was going to be placed. They made absolutely sure we had everything needed to properly hook the appliances on our own and answered every question we had. They had to come back later to deliver the refrigerator once it came in, and again, top notch service. The entry door had to be taken off the hinges to get the refrigerator in and they made absolutely sure that every detail was done with care. No scratching or scuffing of the walls or floors! I cannot speak highly enough of these folks. Top all of this off with a 5-year warranty at a very fair price and all the warranty work done by the technicians at Premier. They're truly the whole package. I'll be honest, we did a little shopping around trying to get the best prices and still get what we wanted. I just moved into a new house and needed a washer and dryer. I knew I wanted a Speed Queen and Premier Appliance showed up as being a 5-star supplier. After going through the process, I now know why they have 5-stars. From the moment I walked into the showroom I was courteously greeted and proceeded to have a nice conversation about the Speed Queen line-up. Caleb was extremely knowledgeable about their products and was a pleasure to deal with. I purchased the set on a Thursday afternoon and it was delivered on Monday morning. The delivery guys gave me a 15 minute advanced warning call and promptly showed up within the time window given to me on Thursday. The 2 guys were great. They worked together well and installed the machines with no issues. After they completed the installation, I thought they were going to leave, but they proceeded to give me a brief tutorial on the machines, which was expertly given and I appreciate the "extra mile" of service.
