So, came here for the first time after just moving back to the tri cities from knoxville. Miso was close to the house, and had a drive through, so it was super appealing for somewhere to stop after a long day at work, and not feeling like cooking. The sweet young man running the drive through was so nice and helpful, but, upon tasting the food, it was flavorless, the noodles were well over cooked and mushy, and the beef was fatty and chewy. I ordered the yakisoba noodles with sirloin, through the drive through, and was a bit disappointed. It comes with a $13 price tag (with tax), but the portion was very small, and it had no flavor to it. Overall, the service was absolutely fantastic, but the food was pretty disappointing, especially for what I paid. I will say, though, that the young man running the drive through told me that if I didnt like the noodles, I could bring them back for something else, which was very sweet, but I'm exhausted after work, and do not want to run back out. 10/10 for service,...
Read moreI generally like the food, but the poor service in unfortunately an experience ruiner! Before quarantine began we would only go here when we had time, because it takes them an hour or better than make our food each time we go. The portions are generous, and the food is good. If you have time to hang out and are generally not in a hurry it's ok. However, the service is slow and usually they don't listen well. They always get something wrong.
After quarantine began we went here because they have a drive through. When we arrived we were confronted with a large line and a lot of confusion. So while waiting in the line we decided to call to see if it was necessary, and it turns out it was. The woman who answered the phone and took my order was rude and she hung up on me once before I could complete my order. The woman at the window was no kinder. She practically threw the food at us. It was an experience I...
Read moreHit or miss. My original review was 5 stars. But, after have eaten here several times now, I've learned there is no consistency in the food. When it's good it's fantastic, but when it's bad....it's REALLY bad. We always order take out, so not sure what we have until we get home. I know there are probably different cooks and food preps, so apparently there are some who put more effort in, than others. To those who do make the effort...GREAT JOB! You are the reason we keep taking the gamble on coming back. I do think that the manager needs to monitor the food quality and service a little closer. If we had received the bad food after our first visit, we would have never eaten there again. Our first 3 visits were great! Since, it has been either good or bad...no in between. We won't be eating there as often as we have been, but will still occasionally eat here. Hopefully, it will be on one of...
