Almost 8 months down the line and let me tell you, I shouldāve listened and rented elsewhere but being in a time crunch and moving from out of state I was left with limited openings. First of Roxanne did a good job in getting us in but the problems started immediately we moved in, come to notice on inspection (after signing lease) that balcony blinds are basically held together by tape.. TAPE!!!!!! Carpet had stains, toilet was nasty. Garage door was broken which made it difficult to open but we managed it, then came the cold and it got stuck , some dude came and cut the wires so guess we have to manually open it now. Let me not even begin on our leaking refrigerator. One month after requesting maintenance some Travis guy came when I wasnāt home and claimed to āfixā it , okay tell me why my kitchen floor still wet and I have to put a bowl in the fridge to catch the water. Put in a second request and itās been almost 3 months and nobody has came. Now moving on to the dryer, stopped working (I have unplugged and plugged back) at this point I have put in three maintenance request in the span of 4 months and still nobody. I have emailed and called and yet no response. In summary save yourself the headache, you get charged for all this amenities only to not be able to enjoy them and find yourself spending even more. So looking forward to my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had lived here for 2 years until last year, and this place is a MESS. First and foremost, this place has roaches. Many residents have here have roaches due to the uncleanliness of the property. Many of my neighbors leave trash bags at their front door because they are too lazy to walk to the trash bin. Also, this condominium establishment has a assigned parking rule for residents that is completely useless. Iād come home almost everyday to someone parked in my spot, and management would never answer the phone to resolve the issue. And to make matters worse, they contract with Crow Tow, a highly known predatory tow company to tow residents, and residents guest cars. The month before I moved out, Crow Tow attempted to tow my car that was in my own parking spot because āI didnāt have a crow tow sticker visibleā. The funny thing is, no one at Adam Ridge had a crow tow sticker. We all had a generic āAdam Ridgeā hand written sticker given to us by management that was visible in my windshield. After arguing for what seemed like forever, he let my car down. All, in all; DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! Even with roaches, they STILL tried to up my rent to 1,150 a month upon lease renewal. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE AND WENDY THE PROPERTY...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience has not been very good. It was a little disturbing to find out that I that they wouldn't let me sign a lease until the day I moved in. This didn't really give me a peace of mind that I had a place to live until the actual moving day. I kind of expected to sign a lease when putting in my deposit.
Initially, they told us the pet deposit was like $250.00 with like $40.00. Then a month after moving in, they changed it to $500.00 with $65.00 / month.
The biggest problem this apartment complex has is that they don't have enough parking. Because they don't have enough parking, many people would park on the side curbs, but the apartment complex then threatened to tow all cars that weren't in a designated parking spot. I understand not parking in a designated parking spot, but threatening to tow cars because you failed to create a big enough parking lot is not my fault.
Management has been less than understanding and there office is often closed. Just getting them to shovel the snow has caused so many pains that I have to call into work a couple of times because they waited until the following day to actually plow the...
