Giant Eagle Supermarket — Local services in Johnstown

By far the worst Giant Eagle in town. Old, tired, small and worn out store. Every time I go here, I either deal with rude employees or other rude customers. All the employees act like you are a huge inconvenience. All the merchandise is grossly overpriced. During my most recent trip I went to check out in the express lane - thinking I had exactly 12 items. Cashier starts ringing my items… notices I have 13 items, cancels my order and tells me to move to another register. I can completely understand the purpose of the express lane and the item maximum… but to start ringing, then make me move to another register?? Then he goes as far to point to the express sign and goes “see read the sign… 12 items or less”. Unbelievably rude...

#1 Look what I found "DEAD" in a bag of "SALAD" purchased from you guest "GIANT NASTY AS HELL EAGLE"... "A F@!KING DEAD LADYBUG".... "FANCY FIELD GREENS LADYBUG SALAD BLEND"!!!! NO I DON'T EAT THAT TYPE OF SHIZ... Today was "SALAD DAY" now I have to swing over to "MCDONALD'S".... NEGATIVE- 50,000,000,000,000,000,000⭐'S

#2 Can you stop following BLACK people around the store that frequent this MARKET, we buy GOODS and PAY BILLS there.... RACIST EAGLE sounds better... NEXT TIME I'LL GET PICTURES OF THE STALKERS...... THEN WILL SEE WHAT A LAWYER CAN DO ABOUT IT..... NEGATIVE-...

I unfortunately do shop here due to its closeness to me but that is it. This particular store is horrid at the moment and has been for quite Some time. It is dirty, pricy for uts location but that is probably one of the reasons why. You have some friendly associates there but you also have a few rude 1s. You have alot who do not even acknowledge you when they are cashing you out. They are talking to other people about their personal life and lots of other things(some of the things I have heard). If you have a car I do suggest another store perhaps richland...
