This use to be the best place to get my sausage links, kielbasa, spicy sticks, burger. NOT ANYMORE. Sausage is barely edible, Christmas time I asked for 4 lbs of HOLIDAY kielbasa and was given REGULAR kielbasa with a Holiday Kielbasa label on it. I got it a week before Christmas and was yelled at on the phone for not calling sooner, all I asked was if they had any. The girl said I can do 4 lbs. we will have you order ready when you get here, which it was not, when I got there, a lady ahead of me asked for 3 pounds and was given some no problem, go figure. I honestly don't think any of it is made in house anymore but the workers say nothing has changed, well that's a lie. Looking for a new place to get my meats, I'M DONE. Best of...

Bardines buying out Froehlics is a win win for folks within the greater Johnstown community. Anyone who has ever shopped at Bardines will testify about the quality and freshness of all their products. We would drive 30 plus miles to Bardines in Crab Tree, but now we just call and place our order and walla the next day it’s at Froelics/Bardines on D street in the west end of Johnstown. Bardines meat products are locally grown butchered and fresh. Not Walmart garbage where you don’t know how long it’s been on the shelf and where it came from and what additives and chemicals are used to preserve their products. I have been eating Froehlich Keilbasa for over 50 years and everyone knew when were eating keilbasa. Your breathe would smell like garlic. Your house would smell like garlic. Your car would smell like garlic for a week when you picked it up. Something happened to the recipe. It is not the same recipe. The employees always tell you that the recipe has not changed, but I am telling you, it did change. It doesn't taste the same. I am not the only one saying this.
