I hate the adding 10% at the end. It's an awful gimmick to make poor people with food stamps pay MORE while convincing them they r paying less. You can do the math yourself if you shop other places enough to know the average cost....most items are charged that price or MORE, and then they STILL add the ten percent. Occasionally some items have a bargain. You will pay more on the average grocery trip by shopping here over Walmart, the only SMART thing about Food Smart is finding a gimmick to take more from poor people they deem too unintelligent to know any better. It's cost, plust their mark up, plus 10% at checkout. Since they're located in the areas food stamp use is concentrated, I suppose that IS pretty smart...not very ethical though....watch the meats,strange how fresh ground beef gets wrapped around brown meat to sell off the old...

The weekly sales are as good if not better than other grocery stores in the area.
