I was a groomsman at a wedding and we rented the tuxes here. I didn't have the full experience of working with this store from beginning to end, as all I had to do was pick up my tux and pay for it. I think overall, it was a good experience. The man helped me try it on and was generous with his time in making sure we were satisfied with how we looked. He was patient as he gave me three or four pairs of shoes to try on, upon request, to make sure I found the right size and width. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place to anyone else looking to rent a tux. But they're rented tuxedos from some warehouse that other such stores use. You'll get what you pay for. They're not exactly high-end quality, but they're perfectly sufficient to take some charming wedding photos and look dapper for the nuptial Mass and...

I have always bought high end mens clothing with shirts costing $300.00, pants $400.00 , ties up to $200.00 and jackets, well you get the point, at same store since 1973. In 2012 I found Powell's only 8 miles from my home, and their prices are down to earth and nothing like I just indicated I've paid for years, and guess what....... I love their clothing line, and the staff is wonderful. Instead of driving over an hour to the mens store I've shopped at since 1973 for one outfit and a cost of $2,000.00, I now go to Powells for an outfit under $600.00 and feel satisfied with my purchase. $400.00 sweaters are not their makeup and a sweater of $65.00 is just as well made and attractive. What can I say, I love saving my hard earned money. Power's has great pricing and wonderful customer service! We rented a tux for my sons prom the week of Prom. It wasnt too late to order and everyone was so nice. We live in Jackson and have rented from Mens Wearhouse in years prior for prom. It's so much worth the drive to Power's.
