KANSAS CITY AIRPORT ENTERPRISE ZERO STARS!! ESPECIALLY COLLIN, the “so called manager” that runs this location. Honestly should look into new management. I booked a reservation to pick up a rental, and brought my MASTERCARD Apple Card to use for the credit card on file. It SPECIFICALLY SAYS ON ENTERPRISE WEBSITE THAT MASTERCARD IS ACCEPTED. It was the only credit card I brought, besides my visa debit card. They declined giving me the rental, and claimed they have had fraud previously with Apple Card’s… which isn’t my problem, and if they were going to change their guidelines it should be listed on their website, or explained in the confirmation email that they limit certain cards, which it is not. I even showed them my app, loaded my card numbers, etc. all names matched to my drivers license. So to completely inconvenience me, I had to go to the rental place next door, AVIS.. which was wonderful, and accommodating, but unfortunately they didn’t have the Tahoe, that I booked with enterprise 3 months prior, which wasn’t thier fault that enterprise had HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SEEVICE. Thankfully they got me something, but with the last minute changed, I had to pay an extra $200 to get a vehicle immediately. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I flew in to bring my little sister home from college, SHAME ON YOU COLLIN. And shame on enterprise for hiring Collin and putting him in charge of customer service. GROSS EXPERINCE, URGE ANYONE BOOKING HERE TO GO TO ANY OTHER RENTAL COMPANY THAN THIS DUMP!!

It pains me to say this, but this is the worst customer service and safety negligence I have ever experienced. Enterprise Kansas City Airport rented me a Grand Wagoneer with a driver’s side tire worn to the threads — a blatant safety hazard that should never have left the lot. When I discovered this in New Jersey on July 3, I was told by the Philadelphia Airport (EPA) branch manager “Marcus” to either take a 5-passenger vehicle (for my group of 8) or change the tire myself and drive back to Kansas City — knowingly putting my family, including an elderly passenger and toddlers, at extreme risk. He then refused to issue a replacement SUV despite multiple being available on-site, walking away mid-conversation in front of other customers. I lost my entire 4th of July holiday and family reunion running between branches, calling clueless service agents, and waiting for approvals that never came. Only when new EPA managers arrived the next day was I finally given a replacement vehicle — from the same stock Marcus had refused to release. Three weeks later, I am still receiving incorrect fuel bills, and no one from Enterprise has followed up. Enterprise’s negligence endangered my family, ignored basic safety protocols, and jeopardized the readiness of a U.S. Air Force member. I demand immediate action, accountability for the employees involved, and fair compensation for this unacceptable, unsafe, and inhumane treatment.

Holiday week travel for the 4th of July brought surge increased demand for rentals. People with reservations could go directly to car lot. Nice. Inadequate staff, one to take you to car and one to process documents at exit gate, was not enough to prevent major back up of customers at each step. Groups were waiting for escort to car. No support at car to document existing damage. Told from a distance to take photos for the record. I did for 3 observations, 1) totally disconnected release handle located on back seat, 2) windshield chip, & 3) cracked molding on driver door (resulted in scratches to hand). Signage to exit nonexistent. Only one sign located at entrance to 30 yard traffic cone single lane entrance to exit lot. 12-15 cars lined up to be processed out. Only one attendant at exit booth to handle document check, computer data entry and answer questions. At least five minutes processing time for each vehicle. Given her business card to contact her if any concerns. I have spent 50 years travelling on business trips frequently. I will now give my rental car business to Hertz albeit less frequent in retirement. Relating this experience at social gatherings will be entertaining, at least through happy hour :-). Thanks for reading my votive to this point. Recommend staffing up for peak periods of travel and better signage to direct customers out of lot.

I had a terrible experience at the Kansas City Airport location. When I returned my car, their were four lanes for returns. There were about 10 people waiting to return their cars with only one employee handling this. After a few minutes, he told all of us to leave the keys in the vehicle as long as there wasn't any damage and he would check them in. I checked my Enterprise account an hour later and it wasn't showing as returned. I called Enterprise and was told the location didn't have the paperwork yet to check the vehicle in and that they would send a message to the location to close out the rental. A few hours later, it still didn't show as returned. I used the chat feature to find out what was going on. The person offered to send a message to the location again. I said I preferred if they would call them since the message option didn't work the first time around. The person reached out and said they were trying to figure out the fuel charge for the vehicle. I found this odd since I had filled up with gas two miles from the airport. The next morning, I still didn't have confirmation the rental had been closed out so I sent an email that didn't receive a timely response. I tried the chat feature again and the person ended it when I wouldn't accept them just sending a message to the branch. I then called the toll free number and reached someone in the St Louis call center. They said the vehicle was showing not returned and that he would have the branch manager call me. That never happened. We then tracked down a number for the branch itself. We spoke with a woman who talked with her manager. They went to look for the car and couldn't find it. The vehicle had not only not been checked in as returned but had been rented out to someone else. They had to manually close out my rental since the vehicle was never properly checked in when I had returned it 24 hours earlier. I needed my receipt the day earlier to meet a reimbursement deadline so this was a significant inconvenience to me. I eventually received a response to the one email I sent, over 3 days later. Overall, I was disappointed with the circumstances but mainly with the lack of accountability that was being taken by Enterprise staff across the board. No one wanted to take ownership of the situation and kept trying to pass it to someone else. Even if they couldn't have helped me directly, they should have put me in direct contact with the person who could. I had to do all the leg work to fix their problem and...

I have always used Enterprise anytime I needed a car rental but after my experience with the Kansas City airport Enterprise, I will never use this company ever again. I made my reservation through Hopper and was to pick up in KC and return to Clinton. This was discussed at the counter and my online reservation as well as physical paperwork reflected this. On the day of return, I was running about 40 min later than I said I would return but was still 2 hours before my actual return window and 20 minutes before the actual close of that location. I called the Clinton office and the lady there said no problem, if someone isn’t there when I get there to use their drop off box and it would be processed the next day. When I got there, no one was there, so I utilized the drop off box, took pics of the dash, car and where I left the car. Two days later I get an email from Martin at KC saying my rental was overdue and my card was being declined. I checked my account and all I could see was a pending payment to Enterprise but nothing being declined. I emailed back and explained I wasn’t overdue and the card was authorized. I thought this was weird so I called their corporate office to which I was told someone would call me back. Of course, no one called me and Martin never responded, and the next day Jerry from KC emailed me saying thanks for returning the vehicle and said he attached an updated receipt with the additional charge, even though nothing was attached. I responded there shouldn’t be an additional charge and needed for someone to respond to me ASAP. I ended up calling corporate again and the lady I spoke to confirmed there shouldn’t have been a charge and could see the error and was escalating to a supervisor and they would call me back. Not one person ever called me back and neither of those people that emailed me ever responded to my emails, and they ended up charging my card the additional amount. I filed a dispute with my credit card company and provided all the proof. I am unsure what happened but Enterprise ended up crediting my card but no one ever called me to discuss, explain, or apologize for their error. So due to a lack of communication and making a simple transaction more than a headache because of their issues, that is the last time I...

On 722 2024 I had reservations with Enterprise at KCI when I went to go and pick up my car they asked for my ID and credit card which was my bank card. No problem I gave them my Capital One credit card they told me it was not authorized I said what does that mean they said that they could not authorize the payment I gave them a second credit card and they said it was not able to be authorized I said well what does not able to be authorized mean they said it doesn't mean that it's declined it's saying it's not authorized so I called my credit card company and ask them what was the situation with my credit card I said will Enterprise said that it could not be authorized and she stated know you're in good standing with us and we authorized the payment but they reversed it so I asked the Enterprise agent why was the card reversed they walked away and could not explain anything to me my credit card company said tell them to send it back through I told Enterprise to send it back through they said they could not send it back through for 24 hours so that meant I could not rent the car to go on my trip so I searched around and I found Alamo periodjust let me say this all of the car rental places at KCI except for budget is linked togethe so I made a reservations for Alamo so when I went to Alamo the same guy that reversed my payment at Enterprise came over to Alamo and rejected my reservation and I asked why and he stated that he did not have to give me a reason. So he said well you can go to any other rental out here that is not linked with us so I went to budget and they did me very good I will never go to any other rental car lot in KCI my only choice in life from now on will be budget car rental. I am African American a brown person and was also rejected I don't have the person's name right now but when I get it I will post it on this...
