Salon 152 — Local services in Kansas City

I have had a lot of bad experience with stylists not cutting my hair the way I want. I was very skeptical of trying another new place. But talking to Scott on the phone he sounded very confident in giving me the cut and style I was looking for. Scott did high lights, cut and style. He is very personable but I could do with out the language using the F word. Totally unprofessional and caught me off guard. My hair looked good when I left even though he used a flat iron and I told him I don’t because I wanted bounce and body with bangs long layers but not choppy or a Farrah fawcett look. The highlight was nice. After I got home and gave it a few days to see how it styled for me, I was very disappointed! My hair is so thin and choppy I can get it to hold a curl and with product in it. It is flat has no volume or bounce and my husband even noticed how flat and straight it lays now. It looks like a rock star cut and that is not what I told Scott I wanted when we first discussed my hair. I will not ever go back. His language was totally unprofessional! Saw a woman in Menar's store and had to asked where she had her hair cut as it was the perfect cut I'd been searching for on a real person not a magazine picture. She gave me the name Salon 152 and stylists name of Charlie. I'm 64 and had let my hair grow for a 5 or old cancer victim and it was beyond time plus the last time I trusted a stylist I asked for a soft blond highlights and walked out looking like the guy from the Dr Pepper commercial, and she was the manager of the salon. $250.00 later and I stayed home for several months I was so embarrasse.

I went in and made an appointment with Charlie, showed her a picture of the cut and color and this woman nailed it!! I haven't felt this good in a long time. Went in with purple hair, and asked to have dark brown hair with lighter brown highlights. He stated he would be able to do so. Once we washed out color the hair looked like dirty green. He was going to continue drying my hair with out fixing issue. Then we went full coverage black and I still have several spots missed and hair is still dirty green tinge color. Very disappointing especially since I paid 145 dollars for a plain hair cut and color. I could have box dyed my own hair.
