A Beacon of Kindness at Starbucks — Thanks to Grae
I stumbled into this Starbucks early one morning, not just looking for coffee but for a moment of peace. I’m on a road trip trying to clear my head, and life had just thrown me another curveball—my car broke down, leaving me stranded and a little lost, both literally and emotionally.
With just enough in my pocket for a cup of coffee, I found a seat and tried to gather my thoughts. That’s when I met Grae.
Grae didn’t just serve coffee—she served compassion. She noticed I was having a rough day and, without hesitation, showed me the kind of hospitality you don’t forget. She checked in on me throughout the day, offered warm conversation, and kept my cup full with refills that felt more like refueling for the soul than just caffeine.
I spent hours there, writing, thinking, and just trying to make sense of things. Grae never made me feel like I was in the way. Quite the opposite—she made me feel welcome, seen, and cared for. In a world that often rushes past people in need, Grae slowed down and showed up.
This Starbucks location is lucky to have her. She turned a hard day into a reminder that kindness still exists—and sometimes, it wears a green apron and knows just when to ask, “How are you holding up?”
Thank you, Grae....
Read moreMy family and I frequent this store almost every day, we’ve got two toddlers and a newborn this is how we survive! We love this Starbucks especially when Joey, Katie, and I believe Alli are working! They are always so pleasant, quick, and make our order perfect every time. Joey even has our order memorized and knows when it’s us in the drive-thru! That’s pretty impressive knowing how busy they always are! They always engage in conversation with my little ones who love going and getting to say ”hi” and get their cake Pop fix. These three are definitely some of their best at this location, there are a few more but I’m not familiar with their names. Only one time did we ever have a blah experience and pretty sure it was a new guy. When we asked to order a cake pop for our kids he told us “ I just got back from break and THINK we’re all out” and that was that...... we haven’t seen him since and are glad. Other than that we honestly have had great service pretty much every time and appreciate it, it truly is one of the big reasons we keep coming back! Thank you to you all for your hard work great attitudes, and always making our little ones...
Read moreThis use to be my favorite Starbucks until now. Been going to the same Starbucks for 2 years every day, multiple times a day. Last week, they told me they didn’t take Amex which is on my app, I told them yes they do, I’ve been getting Starbucks for 10 years every day and multiple times a day and I have always used my Amex. Today I got told that they can no longer give pup cups in cardboard cups, only plastic. Well, my dog is a puppy and he chews. He cannot have the plastic. I will no longer be going to this location due to using plastic and not cardboard. Plastic is so harmful to dogs, puppies, and our environment. It was the managers choice about the cup. She said after today, no more cardboard cups!! I will not be back at...
