We just want Luke to learn the daily code of conduct. For the first time, we gave you an assessment fee of $50. After a week, we paid $168. You told me that it was a day boarding fee. I didn't ask for sustenance. I didn't ask to send the dog to your school for day care management at all, because I don't need day care, because my home is only 10 minutes away from your school, and I can take him to and from school every day.I just wanted a one-time payment. How much is the training fee? Don't charge every time. If you can't practice the dog message well, do I have to pay you an expensive fee every time? I look forward to hearing from you. But I have been waiting for 10 months, and you have not received any reply or explanation so far. My dog is very famous. He has learned to stand up, squat down and communicate simply at home. He has learned. The reason why he sent you to school for training is to train him to learn to swim and interact better with other dogs.Because my puppy sees any person or other animal, he will take the initiative to communicate with people, he is not afraid of strangers, so this is very dangerous, I want you to train him to distinguish between good people and bad people. It's such a simple problem that you haven't been able to solve it for a week. And every time I go there, I have to charge a lot of money. I don't know when you will be able to train well, so I am very doubtful and doubtful. In addition, I hope you can recommend better schools to me, because time is more important than money, and I don't want to waste more time. What I don't understand most is the constant change of trainers and handlers, so I want my dog to have a regular handler, not those who have just learned to handle dogs, which will cause the dog to be confused about who to obey. So we had a communication barrier. You didn't explain to me in time and changed the dog handler casually. The previous dog handler was very good, but I saw a young man on the video you gave me. I didn't know the dog handler. Because the previous handler had promised to serve my dog and teach him everything he needed to learn, but you changed him in the middle, so I...
Read moreThey might have done too Great of a job taking care of our 3 dogs. Seriously, our boxer wants to abandon us & go live there (he lives a very spoiled life at home, so this says a lot) & even our 2 small dogs that hate leaving our house love it there also.
We have used The Dog Academy for both boarding as well as regular baths & nail trims.
Boarding, Large room that comfortably accommodated all 3 of our dogs so that they would feel comfortable staying in a new place since they had each other. The staff read the stories. I repeat The Staff READ THEM STORIES, provided cuddle time & play time. I don't read my dogs stories... we received daily updates on how they were doing, so I knew 100% they were ok & doing great. Again they were getting story time. Who wouldn't love that.
Grooming, All 3 of our dogs are short hair so we don't require much when it comes to grooming. A good bath & nail trim & they are good. So I can't speak to what it's like for a full on cut/style. Again my usually fussy dogs LOVE their trips to go for a bath & nail trim. I feel this speaks to the quality of the staff & the kind & care they put into their clients, mainly the Dogs however they are great to the humans as well.
Value, for boarding the cost is right in line with the other facilities we have used in the past. Only in my opinion we got so much more for the money. Please refer to story time as evidence. Our dogs were not only comfortable the whole time they were there, they were genuinely happy as well. Grooming, again we have very basic needs when it comes to grooming, however I now pay almost half of what I had been paying prior to The Dog Academy opening their doors. So I love that. Plus since my dogs love being there I know it is a stress free experience for them.
We 100% plan to utilize their Doggie Day Care for our boxer a couple times a month so he can get out, play & socialize as he loves to do.
I can not give The Dog Academy enough stars or recommend them enough. I'm so happy they have opened up in our area. The Dog Academy staff & facility are top of the line & we have fallen in...
Read moreWhat a Wonderful Experience at The Dog Academy last Saturday! I had the amazing experience of scheduling my pet with Penny, a very compassionate and caring person. Her passion and love was exhibited throughout every aspect of her work and dedication to giving the pet and pet owner exceptional customer care. I was very satisfied with the grooming of my pet given by Nicki, who went above and beyond to give my pet an amazing experience. This exceptional customer care continued from picking up my pet to a follow up text on Monday by the grooming manager, Jill! This world class customer care was above and beyond anything that I had previously experienced and with heart felt gratitude I write this review! It was Awesome!
In addition, my pet got the opportunity to board at The Dog Academy this past Memorial Day Weekend! He had a Blast! One of his activities was to participate at the pool. His first day at the pool, he just kind of seemed not interested. However, by day two, he shocked the staff and jumped in. He swam across the pool with "his little legs, haha". I just loved the photos and daily report cards sent to me by text messaging. I have boarded previous pets at other boarding places and never received this added bonus! My pet was all smiles when I picked him up.
UPDATE:
It's been over a year that I went to this place. You see something happened at the last grooming session. It was not evident until a week later when I was grooming my pet that he growled at me as I was touching his paws. When I spoke with the grooming manager via text, she spoke with the groomer who claimed that there were no issues with my pet and said my pet even let her cut his nails. Well, I didn't mention anything about his paws to the grooming manager, which made me question what she potentially had done to my pet. If she had just admitted what had happened to me on that fateful day, versus hiding it, I would have been relieved to know. While I have forgiven and moved on, I wanted others to know, but you be the...
