Been to this location twice. Their Adeni chai always tastes great and they adjust the sweetness to your level. They also offer a variety of pastries, dessert, and light snack such as chocolate, cakes, and mini pizzas. I tried their Dubai chocolate, lotus biscoff cake, and pistachio milk cake here.
The pistachio milk cake was kinda dry, not as moist or dense as you’d expect a milk cake to be, also felt too airy. Pistachio flavoring was average, not too strong, and was more on the subtle side. Wasn’t a big fan, four out of ten.
Lotus biscoff cake was really good. It tasted fresh, and was the perfect amount of sweetness, moisture, and fluffy cake texture. Ten out of ten.
The kunafa filling inside the Dubai chocolate was average and the chocolate exterior was way too hard. The refrigerator they keep it in hardens it too much so you have to wait till it warms up a bit to be able to eat it. The kunafa was also burnt inside, and pistachio paste/puree that’s supposed to be mixed in with the kunafa was lacking. I’d probably rate it a five out of ten. Not the best and also not the worst.
Their Adeni chai never misses though. Always amazing each time, super flavorful, and adjustable sugar levels which is convenient and appreciable. Definitely the star of the show here, ten on ten.
Food items such as pastry’s and desserts are good half the time and average the other half.
Nice cozy vibes, kinda small given the high foot traffic, but decent place to chill or study.
Good WiFi strength if you need to wfh as well. Noise level is moderate during lunch, and can increase to loud during evening hours here. If you’re looking for a more quiet place to wfh/study, try coming outside of rush hours and avoid evening crowds.
Overall great place to grab a your daily chai fix. Highly recommend checking it out and trying...
Read moreI recently visited Mazajj Organic Coffee in Katy, TX, with my brother and his wife, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The café offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for both casual hangouts and more intimate gatherings.
I ordered the Qishr, a traditional Yemeni beverage made from coffee husks infused with ginger and cinnamon. It had a unique, spiced flavor that was both refreshing and comforting. The Dubai Chocolate was a standout—a rich Belgian milk chocolate filled with creamy pistachio and a delightful crunch from kataifi pastry, offering a luxurious treat. The Pistachio Tres Leches Cake was moist and flavorful, with the pistachio adding a nutty depth to the classic dessert.
The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring our visit was enjoyable. They took the time to explain the menu items, which was helpful given the unique offerings.
The café's interior is thoughtfully designed with comfortable seating and warm lighting, creating a relaxed environment. It's a great place to unwind, with a mix of traditional and modern décor that reflects the cultural fusion in their menu.
Prices are reasonable for the quality and uniqueness of the offerings. Drinks range from $4 to $6, and desserts are similarly priced, making it accessible for a casual visit or a special treat.

Read moreDiscovering new coffee shops is often a treat, especially with the coffee shop has something unique to offer. A recent hunt for a late night coffeeshop turned up a hidden gem in Katy, TX: Mazajj Organic Coffee.
What sets Mazajj Organic Coffee apart is, first and foremost, the coffee itself. This establishment specializes in Yemeni coffee, which is known for its nutty, earthy, and slightly chocolate flavor. Mazajj serves a variety of different Yemini coffee drinks, with more latte options than the majority of coffee shops. They serve tea and fruity drinks, too.
Another standout at Mazajj is the food. The pastries and assorted croissants are distinct and match quite nicely with the coffee and other drinks. You can really indulge your sweet tooth at Mazajj, with excellent options like pistachio cake, coffee cake, Dubai chocolate, and more. And they offer other, heartier food as well, like sausage rolls and spinach rolls, honeycomb bread with cream cheese, and more.
Yet another standout at Mazajj is the presentation. The lattes are served in a wide coffee cup with a decorative touch to the coffee topping. And I love that they serve your food and drink on a tray! This makes it easy to safely transport everything to your table, without spilling. I often wonder why other coffee shops haven’t done something similar.
Mazajj Organic Coffee is easily a standout in the crowded coffeeshop market. I discovered it by accident: I was casually browsing online for a place to get some Saturday late- night coffee and Mazajj popped up in my local online search. I am glad I took the time to drink and dine at this unique coffee shop establishment, and I recommend you...
