I called to ask if they were accepting donations and told them what I had and that I'd be able to drop them off the next day. The lady who I spoke with on the phone was nice and said they would take them. The people in the store are old and kind of mean in demeanor, they looked at me like I was stupid when I told them I had called the day before about dropping off donations. The lady who helped me drop the donation at the side door was rude. She told me they "had a hard time selling some of these items" and even refused to take a baby play mat claiming it wouldn't sell.(Even though I was told in the phone they would take what I had). She also snickerly said "so we're not getting that wagon then" that I had in my trunk. When it very clearly wasn't part of the donation haul. Im guessing if they are "having issues selling" it would be due to the overpriced tags. I will not shop here or bring donations here again. St. Vincent de Paul's only saving factor is that they do help those in need in the community...

Remember.... it's donations that a thrift store deals with... Not like what a...

One example was a boy's athletic Under Armour Tee Shirt. It was again in "Good" condition (7/10) and the price tag was $9. I do see that they have half price colors of the month so maybe they are now basing their prices on that? This used to be a creative paradise for crafts and etc for me. Now I might as well buy new...
