Oh ya, we had ourselves a real nice time at 313 Dodge in Kaukauna, Wisconsin! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with the friendliest smiles and a cozy atmosphere, doncha know. The place is just so charming, with decor that makes ya feel right at home.
The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. We tried the Mexican street corn dip, and lemme tell ya, it was out of this world! Creamy, with just the right amount of spice and that smoky grilled corn flavor—it was a taste sensation that kept us coming back for more.
And oh my goodness, the house next door looked just as nice and charming! It’s this adorable, well-kept home with a beautifully manicured lawn and flower beds that would make any gardener proud. The landscaping is just impeccable, with a cute tree out front that adds a perfect touch of nature. The beautiful navy blue front door really stands out, giving the house a warm and welcoming feel.
We heard that the owner of the house is a real friendly guy that the whole town knows and loves. Folks say he’s always got a smile and a kind word for everyone. The white picket fence adds to the charm, and you can just imagine sittin’ on the front steps, watchin’ the world go by.
All in all, 313 Dodge in Kaukauna is a real gem. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to go back. Highly...
Read moreTuesday evening, we were walking in the area and owner Kyle chatted with us outside the restaurant and encouraged us to stop in after our walk, which we did. It was the first day of the new Fall menu. There were three of us, so we ordered three things: the cheese/charcuterie board, roasted spinach and cheese flatbread, and wieners with cheddar and warm apples. Portions were larger than we feared they might be (which is why we ordered three items), so we left feeling plenty full! The presentations were creative and attractive. The food was fresh and tasty. It’s fun to eat this way: lots of things to taste and flavors to enjoy. We didn’t try any of the specialty drinks, but the menu descriptions were interesting and we’ll be back to try at least some of them. The decor is warm and welcoming; the dining areas were quiet enough for conversation. Sharing a meal like this makes for a pleasant evening. This is a “hidden gem” that we hope sticks around for...
Read moreSlushie flight was ok. The old fashioned slushie tasted the best. The others (mojito and mule tasted the same, and margarita) was just ok. I do like the old fashioned flight better. Large pretzel was good but a little too doughy for me, and garlic dip was ok but it needs a little more sugar to balance the tomato tanginess, I do not think I would get it again. Other small plates I have had in the past were good but portions are small and you would need to order a lot to make a meal out of it. Overall I think the flight prices and food is pretty overpriced. Also sitting on the sloped driveway and on wood benches is not the most comfortable dining (again totally my choice but it could be more comfy). I know you can go inside but it would be nice to be able to be outdoors and not have my legs fall asleep. Overall, I love the concept but not so much the...
