Pyro's Paradise Inc - Fireworks Building — Local services in Kearney

The store is easy to get to, and the staff are friendly and helpful, if a bit overzealous. To be clear, they aren't pushy, just trying to be as informative as possible. Their product is organized in a logical way, so you can come in and get what you want quickly. I would say the best part about their store is some of their products can be scanned and a video will play of the firework. I LOVE this feature! I scanned quite a few of their products in my shopping trip and this made me feel like I got the best bang for my buck since I could watch the videos to see if I would like what I bought. I ended up with quite a bit and the staff helped put my purchases in my car. So very nice! I really hope that next year all of their inventory will have the scan feature since not everything had it available. Will definitely be shopping there next year.

Edit 6/24/23 (a year later): This year we went back after visiting another place. This place is still the best place I've found. This visit was slightly different. No one was being overzealous with information. A nice gentleman asked us what we were looking for and pointed out things we liked. Then got a better feel for the show we wanted to put on and made better and better suggestions. Once again helped us put things in our vehicle, except 2 people helped this time. SO friendly and knowledgeable! Definitely coming back next year and might just skip ahead to shopping here...

A hidden gem that's not so hidden,clearly visible from the interstate and super easy to get to. This year was my 1st visit definitely not my last. Great staff,very knowledgeable about all products with honest answers to questions not tell you what you want to hear just to make a sell. They want you to enjoy your firework purchases not be disappointed by being pushed into the "big seller for the year" that is outperformed by others at lesser value. Which is where their selection comes into play.......EXTENSIVE to say the least. From top to bottom smoke and sparklers, novelties and snakes to Artillery shells and huge selection of of cakes 1 of the best all around cake selections from mini to 500g, Noah's to full show in a box. Ability to watch on screens seals the deal. Small town ma n pa feel with great owners who enjoy bringing smiles and making friends with anyone who gives them an opportunity to allow knowledge, service ,price, n location to make your holiday be the hit of the neighborhood. Glad I stopped to check it out my wife maybe not as I've become a weekly customer. Been a pleasure keep up the great work I know it takes a lot of time and effort to make things work seamlessly don't eve2r sell urself short!! You've got a great thing going that more people need to see!! I'm sorry just discovered it...

Prices are the best around. The variety is fantastic. They were demonstrating some of non-explosive kid stuff out front. It's nice to actually see what they do before purchase. For the big displays they have videos going on big screens. Everyone is super nice and the bins and shelves are clean and well stocked.

My only negative is the layout of the store. Honestly, I get it, as a store owner you put your high dollar stuff in the first section your customers will encounter. As a parent though, it's hard to hit that aisle first and be encountered with a ton of "NO's" and only a few "YES's" until we got further into the store. My little one was frustrated so I took her on to the middle of the store and left my husband to grab the big stuff.
