NYONair — Local services in Kearny

I booked a helicopter flight with NYONair but they had to cancel it a day before due to the president's visit to the city, which is understandable. It was the way the company handled the situation that left much to be desired. They offered to reschedule my flight, but the catch was that it would be after I was already flying back out of the country. Naturally, this wasn't feasible for me, so I requested a refund, which they refused citing their ‘no refund’ policy. While I can't comment on the in-flight experience, I must warn potential customers that you're taking a significant risk with your money when booking with this company. Their cancellation policy is inflexible, and they reserve the right to cancel your flight at anytime, without any recourse. Furthermore, my interactions with their team were less than satisfactory. I’m sure that the overall experience might be great if you manage to take your flight, but be aware that your hard-earned money is at risk if unforeseen circumstances force you to cancel, or better yet, they force the cancellation upon you. My advice is to carefully consider this...

Wow!!! This was the best trip ever!! From the beginning to the very end, the experience exceeded my expectations. I loved that the staff was super friendly and helpful. At first, I was a bit concerned but after we watched the informative video and went through the instructions, I felt much better. The flight was more than I expected!! The pilot gave us information about all of the sights and we went really close to the Statue of Liberty as well as the skyscrapers. My grandson was super excited that he got to hang his feet out and take pictures from the front of the helicopter. Even the van driver that drove us the helicopter was super polite and helpful. Then there was another really nice guy that walked us to the the helicopter and made sure we stayed on the blue lines at all times for safety. WHAT AN EXPERIENCE!!! I DEFINITELY WILL RECOMMEND NYONAIR HELICOPTER TOURS TO ALL OF MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!! JOB WELL DONE NYONAIR!!! DON'T CHANGE A THING!! WE GIVE YOU 5 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 AND LOTS OF SMILEY FACES!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Do not expect to fly on the day you reserved. Your ticket could be canceled or rescheduled at any time without a refund, at their discretion. I arrived on the day of my reservation only to be told that my flight was rescheduled due to weather. However, the flight was operating, and I watched as others boarded the helicopter, leaving me behind. It felt like they made up an excuse to give my seat to someone else. I do not recommend this company. They do not honor their commitments to customers or respect...
