Buscemi’s Pizza and Liquor — Local services in Keego Harbor

I live down the street from this store and have stopped in countless times without any issue, until today. Before I get into the actual issue let’s talk about the store itself - overpriced and a horrendous selection of the cheapest/least tasteful beer wine and alcohol you have ever encountered, convenience is the only thing keeping this place alive, the old owners had it right, this guy is clearly just trying to take your money. I digress… Today I entered the store and was greeted by the sweatiest most unkempt shirtless man I have ever seen. But the store owner didn’t seem to have any issue with the literal walking health code violation. If this thing happens frequently without any regard from the owner I would guess that this place is crawling with bacteria and rats. I will NEVER visit this abomination of a liquor store again. Google keeps asking for a review. I dont go here, the place is a complete rip off. Last time I went in (months ago) I bought 2 monster energy drinks. They has a sign 2 for $5, which is pretty standard. When I got up to the counter they rang up for $8. Confused I said you have a sign 2 for $5, and the kid said yes we do. I asked then why is it $8, his response still makes me laugh "tax" I explained to him there's no way its $3 in tax and he just said yes it is... so I'll never shop...

Love this location. Been in the area for 5 years and when they took over (loved the last place too), they showed that they were a good company to our area as well. My daughter and I love Jay and Heather (as well as everyone else). We got to know Jay and Heather the most when Buscemis 1st opened and they are good people. I'm glad they took over because I was worried about if they would be good or not like the last family who were...
