Edit after the drama Cody Marquez decided to try and start after he went out of his way to find my facenook lol : This place is a scam. Went in for an oil leak on a 95 7.3 Powerstroke, tech decided to half ass the job and replace o-rings on the injectors and valve cover gasket. I had went in expecting to at least know why i was leaking oil and rsther than properlydiagnosing it they decided to just do these and if it still had a leak come back and take it apart again. From what the dealership has showed me they tried to refurbish my old injectors. When the truck was picked up i noticed there was no clean up done anywhere the oil. Had been leaking. To make this worst, with the lack of cleanlng its painful obvious there was no dyes used to try and identify the leak. If it was leaking from multiple points then we wasted time taking it apart and putting it back together instead of doing what was asked and taking apart the entire block. Pretty sure it was all just to avoid the labor as I was willing to start with the oil pan and work up from there but they assured me that was redundant.

Save your money, go elsewhere. Place is lazy and cheaty. Additionally if you leave a bad review they'll take the time to find you on fb and...

Cody is a fantastic mechanic and really knows the power stroke engines inside and out. He did some minor stuff on my 2006 6.0 and diagnosed blown head gaskets while he was there, but he told me not to jump into the project if I couldn't afford it and to wait until I could. That right there tells you a ton about the man.

unrelated to the head gaskets, the engine ended up letting go of a couple lifters which damaged the cam, the rods... Etc. I had to make a decision to either invest or let the truck go and find something else. If I didn't have Cody at 697, I wouldn't have had the confidence to know that I can get the work done and know it's right.

Cody basically rebuilt the engine (other than crank and pistons) in a little over a week and the truck runs better than ever. He did run into an issue where my radiator ended up breaking and since he was at least 50% sure it happened when he raised the cab, he took care of that without charge. With the miles on my truck, he easily could said it was like that and not on him.

Cody is actually who I will be taking all my families cars too for work and maintenance. He's fast, fair, and thorough. Diesel, gas, or whatever... My vehicles...

I’m a contractor from McKinney Tx and I was in Temple Tx doing business when my truck broke down. I was in a horrible situation. Cody and 607 Garage came and picked up my truck from another garage that I just did not feel comfortable leaving my truck at as I was faced with returning home without my truck. The complete fuel system had to be replaced and Cody quickly ordered parts and literally came thru at the last minute of a very small window I gave him as I totally rely on my truck to run my business. I was putting pressure on him the whole time and he stayed calm and was able to keep me calm as well as I was literally counting down the hours for him to complete my truck. He understood my situation and prioritized me specifically. Even though Cody is in Kempner and literally like 150 miles away I would take my truck to him for any major repairs going forward.
