TL;DR Wild Animal World was worth every penny. Children and adults all had a blast and I will not hesitate to hire and recommend WAW in the future.

The lengthy version: Securing a time slot was a breeze. WAW was quick to respond to emails and was very accommodating when I needed to reschedule our party slot because of Hurricane Irma.

On the day of the party our animal handler (Maria Victoria) arrived about 10 minutes before the scheduled time, set up was very quick and she was ready to go right on time. Maria she did an absolutely amazing job. She was very knowledgeable and so patient with our guests ranging in age from 4-13. The children had many questions and were eager to touch the animals. Maria left no question unanswered and made sure every child had a chance to touch/see the animals up close and personal.

I opted for the vest routine for my daughters 8th birthday party. Upon arrival Maria asked my daughter about the kinds of animals she liked, and didn't like. After my daughter mentioned that snakes freaked her out, Maria sneaked the snake out of the pocket! Once the vest was put on my daughter she realized there were animals in the pockets and she promptly took the vest off and instead we used an older child (13yo) for this routine. Now this is my fault that I didn't pay closer attention to the TYPES of animals in the pockets. For us it was a gecko, toad, snake and SCORPION! Needless to say that freaked me out too! So if you're opting for the vest routine keep this in mind :)

The adults enjoyed the show just as much as the children. Being able to see and touch these unique creatures up close really was an experience...

This place keeps Macaws locked up in small cages and I can hear them screaming just a couple blocks away. I saw the Macaw cages from the plant nursery next door. It’s sad and desperate for such magnificent creatures. 100 degree heat from July to end of October is terrible for these creatures. Under the electrical lines. Animals should not be used to entertain humans. The days of small time circus like yours are crimes from the past. You are not a accredited zoo, that saves animals from extinction. You are a profiteer, just like the men who used to kill all the beautiful birds along US 41 so that women in NY and Boston could show off their fluffy feathers. Just because you can stop a Macaw from flying doesn’t mean you can use it to make a living legally. These animals hate you and they should be free. At least keep them in much bigger cages like the size of your house. How would you like to live in a cage? You are a criminal! It wasn’t until people started turning their backs to women wearing murdered wild bird plumage, did this savagery stop and the wild flocks we have today...

REVIEW BASED ON BIRTHDAY PARTY AT MY HOUSE** I have personally seen dozens and dozens of exotic animal shows and here’s how this one compares: -get ready for up close, in your face, hands on exotic animal shows that you might not get anywhere else. I’m very very familiar with exotic animals and hiring them was a no disappointment -the selection of exotics was amazing! Black and white lemur, kinkajou, prehensile tailed porcupine, fennec fox, ant eater and a barn owl 👌🏼 -Kat was our trainer and let me tell you she was FANTASTIC with the animals and did a great job of connecting them with the kids -of course the education and animal facts were great but what everyone wants to see as do is have those animals in your hands to touch and hold. Lemur on the head, Kinkajou running across a line of kids arms, owl flapping its wings to blow your hair back like a rockstar and even cuddling up with the ant eater! -whatever your occasional is, Wild Animal World I’m sure will be happy to accommodate and give you the same memories they...
