My husband and I were only in Pittsburgh for a week. We went into PaiXão on Tuesday looking to replace my husband’s wedding band. Not only did Eileen patiently explained in detail every aspect of a wedding band and gave her opinion on what looked good on my husband, Paulino also joined in and provided his opinion from a man’s pov. In addition to the wedding band, we were also looking for a 24k gold necklace. We ended up getting the wedding band and the necklace; however, the wedding band needed to be resized and shipped back to PA from Canada and the necklace needed to be made and shipped back to PA from out of state. We didn’t think it would be possible for us to get the ring and necklace before Saturday but miraculously, Eileen pulled it off! We got the ring on Thursday and necklace on Friday, just in time before we left Pittsburgh! We wouldn’t recommend any other jeweler than PaiXão. My wife and I have known Paulino and Eileen Paixao for over twenty years. I bought my wife's engagement ring from Eileen in 1998 while she was working at another jewelry store in Pittsburgh. Their knowledge and expertise, as well as their friendship and family values, have made us want to stay in contact with them as we now live in Virginia. I do not trust many people when it comes to purchasing jewelry. However, both Paulino and Eileen have always taken the time with me when I would stop in to where they were working and would answer in great detail any questions I had about jewelry, or if they weren't busy with other customers, would talk to me about my job, my dying father, or anything else I wanted to talk about.
