Fred Meyer Jewelers — Local services in Kennewick

I've been to other Fred Meyer locations that are really wonderful... However, this location just gets under my skin. The customer service is lacking tremendously. We bought a ring 6 months ago, it turned into a big ordeal because they rang it up at the wrong proce and didn't want to fix it. I literally had to contact corporate to get any resolution as the manager was willing to loose an entire sale and future business or less then 100.00 difference. The regional manager got the whole situation resolved and assured me I could go there in future and receive great care. The only reason there is 3 stars right now and not 1 or 2. Today, we had it cleaned and checked out. I forgot my paperwork and asked her to print me a new one. The lady literally rolled her eyes at us, you could see that we inconvenienced her whole day even though no one else was in there. She was very impersonal and wasn't pleased to be serving us as customers at all. She did do what we asked but her poker face was a fail. We live around the corner, but may just need to drive to Richland instead.

Downgrading Review to 1 star. Incomplete inspection was done on my ring and it broke less then 1 month later. Save your money and look at a different jeweler. Drove to Richland to find out...

Best place to buy jewelry! I've gone to a number of jewelry shops and honestly they all sell the same stuff, but Fred Meyers hires fantastic designers that always have unique designs that aren't like every where else. They have great sales every few months too so get on their email list and ask the sales staff for more info. They have diamond parties too where you pick the stone and setting (or I think can even bring in your own) and they will make a custome piece for you. Lifetime care plans mean you never have to worry about your purchase and it can always get cleaned and spiffed up to look brand spanking new, they'll even polish it for you...

Let me just say thank you to you guys for going above and beyond for me. I had a stainless steal necklace that was given to me by a student, as I am a boxing coach this meant a lot to me. The neckless in no way expensive, however it means a lot to me . My son's dog jumped up on me and his paw grabbed the necklace and a link in the chain broke. Fred Meyer jewelers in Kennewick went above and beyond to fix the necklace and they did it for free. I feel blessed as the necklace has sentimental value and is something I will keep forever.
