I am a tad late with my review, but here goes.... I saw a listing in April 2021 and reached out to the realtor noted on the page. I had absolutely no clue about buying a home. Aaron Kohlmeier was kind and explained the process - even referred me to a mortgage broker. I reached out and was not yet ready. I was grateful for Aaron's advice because going about it backwards would have wasted everyone's time.
The mortgage broker told me what to do and said if I followed his advice to the letter I would be looking at houses by November and closing by January. I laughed inwardly because nothing ever goes right for me (Eeyore is actually my spirit animal). So, I thought - "why not"? I followed his advice - quietly doubting him along the way. I reached out to the mortgage broker in early November 2021 and to my amazement, I was ready. I remembered Aaron from April (and coincidentally, the mortgage broker recommended him as well) and I reached out to Aaron immediately. Within three days of connecting, he spent an entire Saturday with me - we saw several houses; I think it was eight houses. Aaron even returned to the first house with me at the end of the day that I absolutely loved (and I really thought I was going to get - so naive). Well, the market was hot and competition was fierce.
Aaron was very patient, professional, knowledgeable, honest and communicated every step of the process with me well. He was confident that I would find something nice and in a good area before the end of 2021. Again, Eeyore surfaced and I was ready to just give up after the third rejection and postpone the entire process to 2022. Thankfully, the offer for my fourth choice was accepted the day before Thanksgiving and I closed in mid-January.
I have been in my new home for nine months now and I love the home as well as the neighborhood. I still wake up happy and grateful. Should I need to purchase another home or know someone who is in need, I will DEFINITELY...
Read moreFelix is an excellent negotiator, very friendly, and experienced in house repair and maintenance. He made us a lot of money, as sellers, negotiating with the buyer and their realtor. He saved us a lot of money, as buyers, by recognizing and negotiating a situation, in a very hot seller's market, in which we had an opportunity to win a house that was exactly what we wanted without overpaying by several thousand. His knowledge and experience with remodeling and construction was a huge help in our house search. While viewing listings, he identified expensive problems, multiple times, in houses that looked good. As a result, we were able to avoid bidding on them, paying hundreds of $ for inspections, then backing out when they uncovered the issues he caught in our walk-through. He was very prompt in responding to us throughout our time with him and finding answers for us. He quickly setup viewings for us in a market where offers were often being accepted in the first day or two. He is friendly and was patient with us as inexperienced home buyers; even when we were stressed out, and being difficult clients, he was always gracious and helpful. My wife and I both grew to really love and appreciate Felix, and even our baby boy and 2 year old...

Mitch was much more than just an agent, he was a sounding board, an advocate, a therapist, a shoulder to lean on, an adviser, and a sincere friend. Mitch understood our unique situation (a very stressful time in our lives) and our limitations and worked hard to meet all our needs. When multiple curve balls were thrown at us Mitch took immediate action and worked diligently to resolve the issues. We were very impressed by his professionalism and patience in working with the other agent and buyers. I would highly recommend Mitch at Welcome Home if you are interested in selling and/or buying a home, I'm certain you...
