Walgreens — Local services in Keokuk

I have been using Walgreen's in Keokuk for my family's prescriptions for 16 years, and for 15 years before that in the state we lived in before we moved to Iowa. They are the best! I love being able to leave a doctor's appointment and be able to go through the drive-thru to pick up their medication and not have to take my sick kids into the store. I also like being able to go to the drive-thru when no one in the house is sick and not be exposed to whatever sick people are inside the store at the pharmacy picking up their prescriptions. Of course, nothing and no one in life is perfect, but for the most part I have found the employees to be very cheerful, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and like they truly care about the customers and about their job... and that is saying a lot, because I know that they deal every day, all day long, with a lot of grouchy people who don't feel well, from whatever is bringing them to the pharmacy...THANK YOU,...

I’m writing a positive review not for the Walgreens But for a worker named Fantasia, who was absolutely wonderful. All of my medicines needed filled, and of course Burlington‘s Walgreens has been closed for emergency reasons for over a week 🙄, So hoping this store was not as busy, I called them and asked them if they could fill my medicine. Unfortunately, I needed refills from the doctor, so I got their fax number & sent it to my Doctor who sent all of the prescriptions to the Keokuk Walgreens, then Fantasia followed the order, made sure they were entered, refilled all of my medications and called me after to let me know they we’re all entered and went through. This is A+ customer service! Can’t wait to get to the store to pick up my meds because we’re driving through that town anyway Monday and I wanna thank her personally… Thank you, Fantasia! Every staff member from the pharmacist down has treated me amazing from guidance on prescription to helping with issues I have had with past doctors an nurses, it’s not possible for them to help me more than they have. They always seem to go above and beyond expectations. An there is never a time I go that they are not busy but they are always nice an on the move! If you want to be treated like a person that matters this is the pharmacy to go to. I wish I could put into words how amazing they really are an how much they care about you an have your back when you need them! And I have had to deal with lots of pharmacies from coast to coast. I just feel blessed that these ladies and gentlemen are local to me!...
