Pioneer Market is a small town grocery, but they carry everything that you'd need to make a full meal. Their meat market and produce are the best I've seen in East Texas. Specifically the rib eyes are better than any I've eaten from high restaurants in Dallas or purchased from any meat market in my lifetime. And that's no exaggeration. I've talked to many people who could've easily gone to Walmart or Brookshires who will gladly drive further just to get Pioneer Markets meat. The employees are friendly and always very helpful. They've got a really great produce section. I like it a lot more than Walmart or Brookshires because the produce just seems fresher and is very reasonably priced.
