Dollar General — Local services in Kimball

I stopped into Dollar General tonight in Kimball to pick up a few things, and that everything was nice for a Dollar General. Until I got to the checkout, the man working was completely rude, complained about THEIR clearance items not ringing up the correct price, because he had to override them. I’m sorry sir , but if you can’t push a couple buttons, for YOUR JOB, THAT YOU CHOSE , I really don’t know what to tell you. What should have cost 40$, was 80, because he was just too busy, or lazy, to push the buttons necessary. Good job sir, you officially suck at pushing buttons, and treating people with respect. 👏👏 The lady working was rude also. I’m sorry my stopping at your store to spend my money, is so inconvenient to you. Maybe you both had a bad day, but, maybe I did too, and maybe you both being rude to me, sent me over the edge, and kept that cycle of negativity going. You never know what a person is going thru, and people in customer service really need to keep that in mind. I Will be returning to the store tomorrow to have them correct my pricing, and formally complain to a manager, who hopefully has a better attitude, and maybe doesn’t hate their life. I would avoid this store, and plan on doing so in the future myself, unless, I go tomorrow and don’t get treated like garbage. Like I’ve said before, if you’re not good at your job, maybe you should find another line of work. The man working this evening, definitely needs another line of work. i was HIGHLY dissatisfied with their employees! me my sister snd my BLACK friend were shopping for some goods and noticed that we didnt have the card and we lost it while shopping. so my sister went outside to look for the card that she lost and couldnt find it so we looked around the store for the card and couldnt find it. we obviously didnt find it in the store so me and my black friend went outside and were looking for the card that my sister lost. we were followed outside by one of your male employees with brown hair named ethan. we found the card that was under the car and my friend clearly said we lost the card and it was under car so my other sister had to back up so i could get ahold of the card. as soon as we found it we walked inside so we could finish shopping and pay and he followed us inside which was kind of weird. My mother had called and mentioned something about this horrible shopping experience and he quote on quote “they dont have walkie talkies and he was going out for a quick smoke” but it was kind of weird how he had followed us out and followed us in. we have the receipt and items and i will gladly show you if you would like to see! Not the first time my black friend has been followed in that store. Its sad ive heard many bad things about this store so sad. thank you...
