We are continually discouraged as we unwrap our 1/2 cow's meat. Eating out of one's own stash of meat is so wonderful UNTIL there's bone fragment in the hamburger, our thickest steak cut option is still very thin, went to make a simple bone broth from the bones we opted to keep but what we were given were bone shards with more cartilage and joint meat than I know what to do with. I was thinking I'd unwrap one leg bone cut nicely at the minimum for bone broth and marrow whips for my newborn, but I did not expect to find myself feeding the majority of the packages labeled "bones" we "kept" to the dogs. Never bringing a cow here again. Not worth our money to have to worry about kids' and guests' teeth finding bone fragments, disappointing steak cuts, and completely not what we wanted for bones.
