Worst experience. The guy thinned my hair out despite me asking him not to. I told him I want to cut 1 inch off to keep my long layers. Instead I now have thin old lady hair thanks to Magic Shears. I felt like crying when I put on my glasses after my hair cut. In addition to his inability to follow directions and listen, he insisted he didn't cut off more than an inch when my hair is now shoulder length compared to going to my mid back before. I have a family member getting married so now I have to go to the wedding feeling awful about my hair. I made the mistake of going here because this place had good reviews, so please do hesitate before going to this place unless you want everything taken...

Magic Shears is a hidden, neighborhood gem and a fantastic value. $23 for a high quality men's haircut is excellent for this area (and many places charge half again as much). Everyone at this family owned business is very friendly. The place is small, and often busy, so appointments are highly recommended (call ahead), but they do take walk-ins. My daughter had a hard time getting in, and was very ambivalent about getting a haircut, the hairdresser noticed and came to talk to her and invited her in, she took everything slow and kept checking in with her all the time. My child was very happy with the result!
