If I could give zero stars I would. This is the first review I've ever posted, but hopefully others will read this and can avoid the frustrations and disappointments I experienced with Ferguson. I purchased appliances for an entire house with Ferguson, and used them only because that was who my builder dealt with. From the beginning the communication was sporadic and the representative was trying to upsell everything despite knowing what I needed and what my budget was. After doing my own research and making my own selections, I was able to get what I needed and stay within budget. Fast forward to delivery and install and one of the refrigerators blew the GFI outlet immediately upon plugging it in. Multiple outlets were tried with the same results. It should be noted that this was in a brand new house that had just passed the electrical inspection, so the issue was with the appliance. I lost track of how many times we contacted Ferguson to attempt to resolve the issue. Initially we asked that they simply replace the refrigerator, but that went nowhere. So we purchased a refrigerator from another vendor, picked it up and installed it ourselves, and it worked great. We continued to contact Ferguson to pick up the broken refrigerator and provide a refund; they eventually agreed, although they never did pick up the refrigerator, our builder was kind enough to get it out of our way. I was just glad we didn't have to deal with Ferguson anymore, their customer service is simply unacceptable.
Unfortunately, about two months after all the appliances were installed, our dishwasher shut off mid-cycle. We checked the fuse box and the fuse had been blown. We reset the fuse, but the dishwasher shut off again. We had a technician check it out, who reset the breaker, but the dishwasher blew the fuse again before a cycle was able to be initiated. Knowing the lack of assistance we were given with the refrigerator issue, I was reluctant to even reach out to Ferguson. However, this was now the second appliance we had purchased from them that had electrical issues - and the appliances had only been in the house two months! So I called Ferguson to see if they could assist in obtaining warranty assistance or provide a repair or replacement of the dishwasher. Naturally I wasn't even able to speak to the representative I had dealt with, just her voicemail. That was five days ago and I still have gotten no response. I also followed up with an email to the representative as well.
I've advised my builder of all of these issues and hope that he considers choosing another vendor for appliances as I cannot in good faith recommend Ferguson, their employees, their products, or anything about them to anyone.
I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to try to resolve my issue as well as to warn others what they can look forward to in dealing with Ferguson. Ferguson has a grade of D- with bbb.org, so clearly I'm not the only dissatisfied customer.
Bottom line - avoid Ferguson all together. I will never again purchase...
