Went in to pick up prescriptions and to exchange 4 DVDs out of the 8 purchased due to not having slip covers - as pictured on order at time of purchase. First associate was a young man who greeted me promptly and offered to assist and was ok with me going to electronics to see if product was still available. Only 1 of the 4 was in stock with slip covers so I returned with it to the customer service desk to find the young man waiting on another customer and a young lady offered to help. I explained the situation, and she attempted to do the exchange/refund and said her system was down maybe because she could not do the exchange/refund. I handed over my phone which had the order with pictures pulled up, offered her my Target Red Card which she said she did not need it, then asked for it later. The young man interjected and suggested using the second register, which she did not offer to do, simply told me that I would have to take them back with me. After she did not attempt to call for supervisor, I asked for customer service number, went outside the store and placed the call. Customer service rep, Grace, was most helpful, apologized, initiated the refund over the phone and told me to not return the items but to donate them, destroy them or keep them. I told her I could take them back into the store and leave them and she again told me not to. Customer service rep was excellent, however, as a customer with invoice, packaging intact, etc., the disclaimer on the back of the invoice that states, "fast, efficient and easy refunds/exchanges" is inaccurate to say the least for this location. The customer service rep, Grace, focused on a solution and the resolution was above my expectations and was...
Read moreAt this Target location some security guard was following my friends and I around, it started off while we were in the phone case isle and she told us to not go on the carts and run around as she is security and sees everything. We were being nice and said ok even though we didn’t do anything. A few minutes later we were shopping in the cosmetology section and she started staring at us. We then walked away to go and get food and she proceeded to follow us. We were getting coffee creamer when she started calling someone. We then split up to go get other things and she proceded to follow our two groups (going back and forth to make sure she could see all of us.) We started to get concerned thinking we did something wrong and went to go check out. While we were checking out she was watching us. We didn’t see a price on an item and we requested help to remove the item. She then rolled her eyes and said “do y’all need help” in a annoyed tone. When we were done she went over to the to the register we were at and was talking to the worker that helped us to make sure we didn’t steal anything. We all felt extremely uncomfortable considering that we are minors and she was following us around while we were just trying to shop...
Read moreEverytime I walk into this store I hear the employees complaining about something. Today I came in around 7:30 in the morning, as soon as I walked in the door I heard the two ladies at the service desk complaining about the local schools that come and shop at their store. They were talking how obnoxious some of them are, how they destroy the store. They called out at least four schools by name. Then they moved on to complain about how nobody empties their register bins anymore. The register bins used to be emptied every hour on the hour and now you have to beg to get someone to do it. On previous visits, I've heard employees complaining about their hours, complaining about how other stores are better, complaining about how they have to do the job of two and three people. It is an absolute turnoff to continue to shop at the store when the employees are...
